Mona's Devotional: Christmas - Mary Believes - Dec. 13, 2020

12/13/2020

Comments

December 13, 2020
Each year I enjoy reading about the first Christmas and everything that lead up to it. One of my favorite parts of the Christmas story is when Mary heard God’s plan for her. In Luke 1 it tells about when the angel, Gabriel, came to Mary and told her that she would have a baby and call Him Jesus. Mary was confused, troubled and disturbed but Gabriel assured her that she had no need to fear.  He told her that she was highly favored among woman and that the Lord was with her. Mary wasn’t sure how this could be since she had never been with a man. Again Gabriel assured her that God was with her and that “The Spirit of Holiness will fall upon you and almighty God will spread his shadow of power over you in a cloud of glory! This is why the child born to you will be holy, and he will be called the Son of God.  Not one promise from God is empty of power, for nothing is impossible with God!” Luke 1:35, 37.  For with God nothing is ever impossible and no word from God shall be without power or impossible of fulfillment.” Luke 1:37 Amplified Bible
Now right here Mary had the opportunity to perceive this any way she wanted. She could have doubted what the angel said (read about Zachariah doubting John’s birth in the beginning of Luke 1). She could have looked from so many perspectives but this was her answer. “Behold, I am the handmaiden of the Lord; let it be done to me according to what you have said. And the angel left her.” Luke 1:38 Amplified Bible. The Message Bible says it like this: “Yes, I see it all now; I’m the Lord’s maid, ready to serve. Let it be with me just as you say.” In the Passion Bible it says: “Then Mary responded, saying, “This is amazing! I will be a mother for the Lord! As his servant, I accept whatever he has for me. May everything you have told me come to pass.” That is looking at the situation from God’s perspective! The Lord has never spoken anything that profound to any of us and yet what we have heard and seen, we’ve doubted because we like to stay in what we think is our safe, known world and see things our way instead.

I long to be as Mary and always say, Behold, I am the handmaiden of the Lord; let it be done to me according to what you have said. I want to do with my life as He has called me to do. Not one promise from God is empty of power, for nothing is impossible with God! These verses are powerful right now during this time. Zechariah was told he and Elizabeth would have a son and he got into fear and didn’t believe. “Don’t be afraid, Zechariah! God is showing grace to you. For I have come to tell you that your prayer for a child has been answered. Your wife, Elizabeth, will bear you a son and you are to name him John. His birth will bring you much joy and gladness. Many will rejoice because of him. He will be one of the great ones in the sight of God. He will drink no wine or strong drink, but he will be filled with the Holy Spirit even while still in his mother’s womb.” Luke 1:12-15 Zechariah asked the angel, “How do you expect me to believe this? I’m an old man and my wife is too old to give me a child. What sign can you give me to prove this will happen?” Luke 1:18 His fear brought lack of peace which brought unbelief. That is where so many people are today.

Peace is a big word this time of year. All people want a form of peace but not everyone knows the Prince of Peace. This past week I read about peace and the difference in the reactions of Zechariah and Mary when they heard too-good-to-be true news for their lives. Zechariah doubted the news of a miracle that he and Elizabeth would have a baby at their age. Mary said she would accept whatever the Lord had for her. Mary had a heart that trusted the Lord. She had peace in the whole situation. Belief brings peace. Trust brings peace. Faith brings peace. The opposite of peace is agitation, distress, fear, doubt. When I am agitated and distressed there is no peace in my life or my heart. I am afraid to trust, afraid to believe, scared.

PEACE IS A PROMISE!!!
THE PRINCE OF PEACE DOES WHAT WE CANNOT DO FOR OURSELVES!!!

He is true lasting Peace and He is always there offering me to partake of His Peace every day in every situation. Our worlds can get disrupted as had Zechariah’s and Mary’s. Their worlds would change and they had a choice to believe and receive what the angel was saying or doubt and be in fear. We like our safe, controlled worlds and even news of a miracle and answered prayer can disrupt what we want to be in control of. Instead of joy, peace, hope and faith Zechariah expressed agitation, distress and doubt. He wanted to KNOW how this could be instead of believing the miracle. Sometimes we want to know the reasons while Jesus emphasizes believe Me. We like to know why. Wanting to know the reason = no faith. We don’t always rest in Him and His promises. Remember peace is a promise. His peace not the world’s peace. There is a difference. When our worlds change – and they do – we have an opportunity to always choose His peace. Here are some verses on peace to meditate on this Christmas season.

For to us a Child is born, to us a Son is given; and the government shall be upon His shoulder, and His Name shall be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father,  Prince of Peace.” Isaiah 9:4

“And God’s peace shall be yours - that tranquil state of a soul assured of its salvation through Christ and so fearing nothing from God and being content with its earthly lot of whatever sort that is - that peace which transcends all understanding shall garrison and mount guard over your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus.” Philippians 4:7

“Peace I leave with you; My peace I give to you; not as the world gives do I give to you. Do not let your heart be troubled, nor let it be fearful.” John 14:27

“And the effects of righteousness will be peace - internal and external - and the result of righteousness will be quietness and confident trust forever. My people shall dwell in a peaceable habitation, in safe dwellings and in quiet resting places.” Isaiah 33:17-18

“So shall My word be that goes forth out of My mouth; it shall not return to Me void, without producing any effect, useless, but it shall accomplish that which I please and purpose, and it shall prosper in the thing for which I sent it. For you shall go out with joy and be led forth with peace; the mountains and the hills shall break forth before you into singing and all the trees of the field shall clap their hands.” Isaiah 55:11-12

“You will guard me and keep me in perfect and constant peace because my mind, both its inclination and its character is stayed on You, because I commit myself to You, lean on You and hopes confidently in You. So I trust in You, commit myself to You, Lean on You, hope confidently in You forever; for You are an everlasting Rock.” Isaiah 26:3-4

“For though the mountains should depart and the hills be shaken or removed, yet My love and kindness shall not depart from you, nor shall My covenant of peace and completeness be removed, says the Lord, Who has compassion on you.” Isaiah 54:10

“How beautiful upon the mountain are the feet of him who brings good tidings, who publishes peace, who brings good tidings of good, who publishes salvation, who says to Zion, Your God reigns!” Isaiah 52:7

“Glory to God in the highest. And on earth peace, goodwill toward men.” Luke 2:14

Right now in this season of Christ’s birth we can be keeping our eyes on who we are in Him and who He made us to be. What a gift to the world each one of us is. Remember His promises and that NOTHING is impossible with Him!

Mona's Devotional: Lift Your Eyes Higher! - Dec. 6, 2020

December 6, 2020
My last week brought me many opportunities to grow in the Lord. I actually don't mind the Lord speaking to my heart. It's in these times I feel so connected to Him and so thankful I'm listening and hearing His voice.

Since June we have been blessed to host many families through AirBNB in our church house. We have blessed many families with our upstairs and a few downstairs. It wasn't always full but enough to help with the church expenses since the pandemic has changed the whole dynamics of our services. The church family watch from home more and the giving isn't the same. The house was our hidden treasure that blessed families and blessed the ministry. Then this week both of the December families cancelled since the church is in a Covid code red area. Most of you already know how I feel about all the overreach with the virus and it hit home a little closer this week. Many, many, many families do not feel the financial hit of the virus and I'm so thankful. But many, many, many have had their financial world changed - especially the small businesses. I got a bit down, discouraged and in fear. When will all this end? I have no fear of the virus but the side effects of it can be so much worse for people. So what do you think the Lord told me about my situation? Same thing He told me with Summer. It's His AirBNB, His dog and He will take care of the finances so what am I concerned about?

My answer was. "I don't know - uncertainty?" I know I was trying to figure out how to make the finances stretch. But then He said it wasn't my business to figure it out but to trust Him to take care of it. Guess I thought I need to help Him:(. I'm not speaking negatively about the ministries finances as the Lord always takes care of things. We do continue to speak life but I won't deny that things have changed and it is pretty tough at times. I know we have so much seed in the ground that our harvest is over flowing. But we all have these challenging times and this is when we need to know that we hear His voice.

"Rise up in splendor and be radiant, for your light has dawned, and Yahweh's
glory now streams from you! Lift up your eyes higher! Look all around you and
believe, for your sons are returning from far away and your daughters are being tenderly carried home. Watch as they all gather together, eager to come back to you!
Then you will understand and be radiant. Your heart will be thrilled and swell with joy. The fullness of the sea will flow to you and the wealth of the nations will be transferred to you!" Isaiah 60: 1, 4-5

"Lift up your eyes higher! Look all around you and believe,"
When trials come and you wonder what you are going to do - Lift up your eyes higher! I've talked about lift up your eyes - look up but this says Lift up your eyes higher! I realized I was acting like a victim. The mess we have lived in for the last 9 months, the fears and mandates that were spoken. People don't want to come to a church service right now or stay at the AirBNB. Then there was the Summer Dog accident that has changed a few things in our life for a couple months. Life has been different but we still have so much to be thankful for. I am to rise up! I need to stop limiting God! Now we have a beautiful home for our daughter and family from Wyoming and Montana to stay at Christmas instead of crowding in here. What a joy! He is faithful and watches over us!

"Who are these who soar like clouds, flying like doves into their portals?" Isaiah 60:8

Lift up your eyes higher! Soar like clouds and fly like doves. Doves only focus on one
thing at a time. We are to be like them and focus on Him alone. We are to fly high above, focus our eyes high above all the troubles, worldly issues, sickness, fear, money issues, election deceptions. We are to rise up in splendor and be radiant! The world is not our home. Our home is above the mess with Him. Our focus is faith. In Him we are unstoppable and glorious! He says to be more aware of what is happening in me than what is going on around me. I will take that word! When things look difficult I will trust Him to take care of it
.
"Yes, feast on all the treasures of the heavenly realm and fill your thoughts with heavenly realities, and not with the distractions of the natural realm." Colossians 3:2

What the Lord showed me early in the week when other distractions were trying to get me down was to CELEBRATE! He said to make this month the greatest month of 2020!
Here's a few things He said we could do.

* Daily read the story of Christmas in different translations, different books of the Word. Read them as a family. Read them to your children. Don't just put on a movie for your children to learn from - let them also learn form you!

* Everyday find someone special to bless. It's not the same as usual so let the Lord give you ideas of who needs an encouraging word and how you can bless that person. Do this daily.

* Take time to send cards via mail, internet or through a call. Everyone will look at these connections as precious gifts.

* Declare His Word always and pray for one another and our country always! Speak life for our nation and that evil cannot prevail!

* Take communion everyday remembering the reason He came to earth was to give His life for us! Never forget all He has given you, me, us through His death, burial and resurrection.

* Watch Christmas movies together and watch The Chosen. Can't stay down and watch that!

* Find special ways to celebrate Him since there aren't parties to go to. Party with Him at home! Sing! Dance! Rejoice! Enjoy HIM!

* Don't stress. This can be the greatest time of the year. We have something to celebrate! We have a reason to get out of bed! We have hope, love and joy!!

* Put up more lights! Light up the darkness. His is the Light of the world and darkness cannot exist in light.

I was thinking of Mary, the Mother of Jesus, this week. She had to look up higher to trust and believe what the angel was telling her. She had to look beyond her worldly life to believe. Joseph had to listen so closely to what God was telling him through the angel. And he believed and obeyed! That's what we all desire.

Lift up your eyes higher! Look all around you and believe!

Enjoy your week and make everyday a joyous, special day!!

Mona's Devotional: Prayer for Our Nation Nov. 29, 2020

12/3/2020

 November 29, 2020
This week I am sharing a few prayer guides from our friends, Kevin and Karen, who we went to Washington with. This are so important to read, understand and take authority over any of the evil. We are overcomers and have the Victory!

A Quick Update From Karen

Dear Intercessor,
Are you as shocked as I am at how quickly friends, leaders and pastors have capitulated and are now repeating the lie of a "president-elect?" I am shaking my head over it. First because no one can be the actual president-elect unless one of two things happens.

1. There is a concession by the current president admitting the other candidate won. This hasn't happened and isn't going to happen.

2. Since a clear winner has not been determined because of the enormous voter irregularities (a nice way to say how the votes were stolen) then a president-elect will not be determined until Dec. 14 when the electors cast their votes.

We need to continue to pray now more than ever as we head toward that day for we are about to see God step in.

This email is to first encourage you that this is not over. Biden will not be president and everything we see in the natural is a fraud.

Don't. Buy. The. Lie. This is a time when we must see with supernatural eyes.

Let's not forget:
So we’re not giving up. How could we! Even though on the outside it often looks like things are falling apart on us, on the inside, where God is making new life, not a day goes by without his unfolding grace. These hard times are small potatoes compared to the coming good times, the lavish celebration prepared for us. There’s far more here than meets the eye. The things we see now are here today, gone tomorrow. But the things we can’t see now will last forever. (2 Cor 4:18 MSG).

Here are some things you may or may not know because the media hides them, but many good things are happening behind the scenes:

  1. There have been NINE lawsuits filed in PA for election fraud. NINE. Plus the legislature in PA is Republican, although their state Supreme Court is completely corrupt. Keep praying as it always has and will get down to PA.
  2. Pray for Arizona. There have been some discouraging reports there, but Trump absolutely won in Maricopa and we watched the votes "shift" when Trump was ahead which means the Dominion voting machines were definitely at work there. Sidney Powell is going after this and the many other states (28) where they were used.
  3. Sidney Powell, the lawyer who diligently fought for General Flynn to reveal his innocence and the corruption surrounding his arrest. She has been working hard regarding the Dominion Voting Machine fraud. There are videos of the fraud happening right before our eyes on television and how they did it. Pray for her and her team. She is NOT funded by the RNC and so donations to this end are needed. Click on her name above if you want to link to her Twitter site on how to give toward her legal work.
  4. Jay Sekulow filed a lawsuit in GA. The recount was corrupt as they just recounted ALL the ballots rather than checking signatures. So a recount of the recount is now being called for.
  5. Michigan, Minnesota and Wisconsin all have lawsuits filed to remove the ballots from people whose names were not on poll books, who were dead, where single vote ballots for Biden suddenly appeared. This most likely happened in all states to some degree, but right now we need to target in prayer these swing states that are covered in lawsuits. These all must be investigated and the lawsuits completed before Dec. 14.
  6. Pray for the many lawyers and clerks working long hours to expose. This is massive. We may never know their names, but God does. They aren't getting much sleep because of the intense time deadline. Pray for them that they will have eyes to find the corruption and write the briefs so that we can get justice.

On another front, we are also watching as Democrat and progressive governors and mayors are in a frenzy to re-assert the mask mandates and shut downs. This is a coordinated effort to regain control and insert fear. Pray for all businesses everywhere who were hoping for a holiday surge in business as these demonic-led leaders work to keep them shut down. Is Covid still out there? Yes. But that is not what this is about. Again, Don't. Buy. The. Lie.

A new report this week was regarding passports that would be connected to a vaccine certificate. Yep. They are working hard to prevent travel unless you take the vaccine. What is in that vaccine that they are so hell-bent to force us to take it? That's another article, but let me just say, Gates has been on record, now pulled, stating that a successful vaccine REDUCES the population by 20% (I heard him say it) and that it will have DNA altering properties in it. One such property could be how they have learned to weaponize vaccines to kill what they call the "God gene" which kills off the part of the brain that causes passionate belief. This was introduced to the Pentagon ten years ago to supposedly target radical Muslim communities and could be released in a vaccine or in the air. Research has been ongoing toward that end. This is all real people. If we don't fight back now in prayer and resistance, it will be our lives.

Never forget that just as God's hand has been on Israel, so it is with America---the only other country that was brought about by His divine intervention. Is He going to cast it aside? Let it fall to evil?

Did He somehow miraculously allow President Trump to win in 2016 (the Dominion software glitched and they couldn't make it work!) just to leave us now? Did He allow miracle after miracle to take place to deliver us from the constant four year assault trying to impeach the president, just to leave us now? Make no mistake, God is about to show up and show off. Everything that can be shaken will be. So don't let it shake you!

I conclude with the reminder that we are about to see God step in. It is necessary that this be a God moment so that NO ONE can claim this miraculous exposure of corruption and turnaround but God.

Be encouraged. God is on the throne and we will see His intervention. (If you want to know how such deception and corruption happens even in "righteous" people, see below about my new book INFECTED. God showed me the progression we are now seeing in our nation about five years ago before any of this started. I've never heard anyone else talk about it, but it is all real and shows how this happens AND more importantly, how to be free.
Standing together,
Karen Hardin

IT’S TIME TO PRAISE THE LORD!

Dear City Intercessor,

What is our next step? We praise the Lord.
We continue to remain steadfast, unmoveable with our eyes on Him.

None of this has escaped His notice. Remember He is the One who sits in the Heavens and laughs. And so we continue to praise, with our eyes and our hearts on Him. For He will do it!

Shout with joy to the Lord, all the earth! Worship the Lord with gladness, come before Him, singing with joy. We acknowledge that the Lord is God! We are His people, the sheep of His pasture. We enter His gates with thanksgiving; go into His courts with praise. We give thanks to Him and praise His name. For the Lord is good. His unfailing love continues forever, and His faithfulness continues to each generation.

I will praise the Lord at all times. I will constantly speak his praises. I will boast only in the Lord; Come, let us tell of the Lord’s greatness; let us exalt his name together. We prayed to the Lord and He answered us – freeing us from all our fears. Saving us from all our troubles. The angel of the Lord is a guard, surrounding and defending all who fear Him.

You are my King and my God. You command victories for Israel. Only by your power can we push back our enemies; only in your name can we trample our foes. We trust in nothing and no one but You Lord. You are the one who gives us victory over our enemies; you disgrace those who hate us. O God, we give glory to you all day long and constantly praise your name.

Come, let us sing to the Lord! Let us shout joyfully to the Rock of our salvation. Let us come to him with thanksgiving. Let us sing psalms of praise to him. For the Lord is a great God, a great King above all gods. He holds in his hands the depths of the earth and the mightiest mountains. The sea belongs to him, for he made it. His hands formed the dry land, too. Come, let us worship and bow down. Let us kneel before the Lord our maker, for He is our God. We are the people He watches over, the flock under his care.

Young and old will hear of your faithfulness. Your unfailing love will last forever. Your faithfulness is as enduring as the heavens. All heaven will praise your great wonders, Lord; myriads of angels will praise you for your faithfulness.

O Lord God of Heaven’s Armies! Where is there anyone as mighty as you, O Lord? You are entirely faithful….

Righteousness and justice are the foundation of your throne. Unfailing love and truth walk before you as attendants. Happy are those who hear the joyful call to worship, for they will walk in the light of your presence, Lord. You are their glorious strength. It pleases You to make us strong. Yes, our protection comes from the Lord.

With all that we are, we give thanks! With everything inside of us, we praise Your holy name. You are a great and mighty God. Blessed be the name of the Lord.

Psalm 100, Psalm 34, Psalm 44, Psalm 95, Psalm 89

A Quick Update on What is Happening

Dear City Intercessor,

This is the second of two mid-week emails that we felt were important to send as we continue to pray not only for our cities, but for our nation and the election results in this critical time. This is information you won't hear in the news, but is happening behind the scenes. God is on the move!

PS - Be sure to read to the bottom for an announcement and special that ends Nov. 30.

Are you as shocked as I am at how quickly friends, leaders and pastors have capitulated and are now repeating the lie of a "president-elect?" I am shaking my head over the lack of understanding of our our election process works.

First, no one can be the actual president-elect unless one of two things happens:

1. The current president concedes to the other candidate. (President Trump hasn't done this and he isn't going to because the proof of fraud is overwhelming.)

2. Since a clear winner has not been determined because of the enormous voter irregularities (a nice way to say how the votes were stolen) then a president-elect will not be determined until Dec. 14 when the electors cast their votes.

We need to continue to pray as we head toward the 14th, for we are about to see God step in, show up and show off.

This email is to first encourage you that this is not over. Biden will not be president and everything we see in the natural is a fraud.

We must remember to see with supernatural eyes.

But the things we can’t see now will last forever (2 Cor 4:18 MSG).

Here are some things you may or may not know because the media hides them, but many good things are happening behind the scenes:

  1. There have been NINE lawsuits filed in PA for election fraud. NINE. Plus the legislature in PA is Republican, although their state Supreme Court is completely corrupt. So is their governor who had the bar codes removed from the ballots which would have helped prevent voter fraud. Why would you remove the barcodes unless you are working to do voter fraud. There is no other explanation. PLUS, 1.5 million mail-in ballots were mailed out in PA, but they received 2.3 million back in the mail. It doesn't take a mathmetician to realize that's not possible unless voter fraud occurred which miraculously introduced an additional 800,000 ballots into the count. Keep praying as it always has and will get down to PA.
  2. In Michigan's Wayne County, Republican poll watchers were denied their legal right to monitor the election and purposely kept in the dark, both literally and figuratively, with election officials blocking windows and pad-locking doors. Also, in 71% of Wayne County’s precincts, the number of people who signed the poll books was far less than the number of votes counted. Additionally, the Trump team found 1,700 abandoned properties in Wayne County that were listed as residences of voters. The RNC Data Department is matching abandoned property addresses that are linked to registered voters and checking to see if those voters showed up as voting absentee.
  3. Pray for Arizona. There have been some discouraging reports there, but Trump absolutely won in Maricopa and many of us watched the votes "shift" when Trump was ahead which means the Dominion voting machines were definitely at work there. A new lawsuit is being introduced there on Monday. Sidney Powell is going after this and the many other states (28) where the corrupt Dominion voting machines were used. Texas recognized how susceptible the Dominion machines were to voter fraud and refused to use them. Why did several Democrat governors SCRAMBLE to purchase them prior to this election?
  4. Sidney Powell, the lawyer who diligently fought for General Flynn to reveal his innocence and the corruption surrounding his arrest has been working hard regarding the Dominion Voting Machine fraud. The man who created the software has come forward to testify that the software was created to change votes! There are videos of the fraud happening right before our eyes on television and how they did it. Pray for her and her team. She is NOT funded by the RNC and so donations to this end are needed. Click on her name above if you want to link to her Twitter site on how to give toward her legal work.
  5. Jay Sekulow filed a lawsuit in GA. While there was a recount. It was corrupt as they just recounted ALL the ballots rather than checking signatures. They checked nothing according to eye-witness accounts. So a recount of the recount is now being called for.
  6. 14 for the electors to cast their votes with authentic certified counts with any illegalities exposed and removed.
  7. Pray for the many lawyers and clerks working long hours to expose the fraud. This is massive. We may never know their names, but God does. They aren't getting much sleep because of the intense time deadline. Pray for them that they will have eyes to find what has been hidden and write the briefs so that we can get justice.

Don't. Buy. The. Lie.

A new report this week should keep us on our knees regarding the oppressive control they are working to assert. They are planning to make passports connected to a vaccine certificate. Unless you get the vaccine they want to prevent our ability to travel across state lines and into other countries.

What is in that vaccine that they are so hell-bent to force us to take it? That's another article, but let me just say, Gates has been on record, (A Ted talk now pulled) stating that a successful vaccine REDUCES the population by 20% (I heard him say it) and that it will have DNA altering properties in it.

One such property could be how they have learned to weaponize vaccines to kill what they call the "God gene" which kills off the part of the brain that causes passionate belief. This was introduced to the Pentagon ten years ago to supposedly target radical Muslim communities and could be released in a vaccine or in the air. (Click the hyperlink in the paragraph above to see that video.) Research has been ongoing toward that end. This is all real people. If we don't fight back now in prayer and resistance, it will be our lives.

While it is easy to be overcome with fear, we must never forget that just as God's hand has been on Israel, so it is with America. We are the only other country that was brought about by His divine intervention. Is He going to cast it aside? Let it fall to evil? No He won't!

First think about it. Did God miraculously allow President Trump to win in 2016 (the Dominion software glitched and they couldn't make it work!) just to leave us now? Did He allow miracle after miracle to take place to deliver us from the constant four year assault trying to impeach him just to leave us now? He is the same God who delivered the Jews from Hamon, and He will deliver us from this globalist takeover which is about removing HIM! Make no mistake, God is about to show up and show off. Everything that can be shaken will be. So don't let it shake you! Hold steady.

I conclude with the reminder that we are about to see God step in. It is necessary that this be a God moment so that NO ONE can claim this miraculous exposure of corruption and turnaround but God.

Be encouraged. God is on the throne and we will see His intervention.

Standing together,

Mona's Dev.: Morning Prayers and Thanksgiving Nov. 22, 2020

11/23/2020

Comments

November 22, 2020
It's hard for me to grasp that it is the end of November and close to the end of 2020. It has
been a journey, adventure, a challenge and year of growing strong in the Lord and standing on His truths. So many changes and so, so many people are hurting right now. Prayer has taken on a deeper meaning for me as I continue to pray for our country, our church, our family and for friends all around the world. The tension, the stress, the attacks, the confusion and the list continues. Life went to a new level of commitment in the last 9 months. It's not necessarily a bad thing that we have gotten the opportunity to go deeper and higher in Him. The negativity and lies we are dealing with is a bad thing but we are overcomers in Christ!!!

This past week my heart was so much on praying for those struggling in so many ways. We were praying for the family of a 37 year old lady who was killed in a car accident. It was so tragic and left behind 2 little kids and a husband besides her extended family. Another couple lost their son in a motorcycle accident. Many, many marriages are on the edge of giving up. Oh how my heart aches for these people. Some of our church family have received negative Dr reports. The pandemic is causing havoc with businesses and people's livelihood. The fear level is heading back up higher than ever now with the political uncertainties to add to it. People are just getting weary of all the unknowns that continue in every area of life for the last 9 months.

One of my favorite verses is Isaiah 50:4 and actually I would say it's the verse that I feel is my call on life. "The Lord Yahweh has equipped me with the anointed, skillful tongue of a
teacher-to know how to speak a timely word to the weary. Morning by morning, he awakens my heart. He opens my ears to hear his voice, to be trained to teach."
Isaiah 50:4

My heart is to speak a timely word to the weary and hear the Lord direct me morning by morning. I hear the Lord speak to my heart about how to pray for others every morning. I love mornings. The darkness of the night becomes so bright and alive as the light fills the sky every morning. It's a time I feel so close to the Lord. It's a new day, a new time, a new opportunity.

"If you wait at wisdom's doorway, longing to hear a word for every day, joy will break forth within you as you listen for what I'll say. For the fountain of life pours into you every time that you find me, and this is the secret of growing in the delight and the favor of the Lord." Proverbs 8:34-35

The Lord longs to give us a word every day and I believe He does speak to each of our hearts even if we are not listening. Many times He speaks a word to me that is so hard to see possible. Right there I should know where my issue is because I am looking and not walking by faith. This is what I heard and read this week: Do you have situations that look (sight) outwardly impossible and visibly seem to remain immoveable? God has called us to have faith that defiantly resists impossibilities.

"And without faith living within us it would be impossible to please God. For we come to God in faith knowing that he is real and that he rewards the faith of those who give all their passion and strength into seeking him." Hebrews 11:6

As I read I realized how often I spend so much of my time trying to come up with an answer or solution and I am asking for His wisdom but I am asking from the perspective of what I see or what looks possible. I get to leaning on my own understanding. I know that faith is powerful and doesn't give in to what is seems impossible and immoveable. Actually, every seemingly impossible situation has to bow in the name of Jesus when I command it to. I have all authority over every situation in my life and many times I bow to the situation instead of commanding it to bow in the name of Jesus. Some situations and circumstances are harder than others and instead of continuing to take my authority, believe in faith and speak life and the truth I find myself living in or almost giving up to what I see. I'm so thankful that the Lord  reminds me daily that I am an overcomer and a victor in Him and all things are possible to him so believes!!

"Every single moment you are thinking of me! How precious and wonderful to consider that you cherish me constantly in your every thought! O God, your desires toward me are more than the grains of sand on every shore! When I awake each morning, you re still with me." Psalm 139:17-18

The steadfast love of the LORD never ceases; his mercies never come to an end; they are new every morning; great is your faithfulness." Lamentations 3:22-23

One of the greatest ways to keep our heart and mind on the Lord and living in His presence is to have a heart of thanksgiving. We all know this and we all know the fruit of a life of thanksgiving. At this time of year and especially this year we are even more aware of the value of being thankful. It's our lifeline to His heart and love. Everything does look possible when we are thankful.

"Keep on giving your thanks to God, for he is so good! His constant, tender love lasts forever!" Psalm 118:1

"Sing out with songs of thanksgiving to the Lord! Let's sing our praises with melodies overflowing!" Psalm 147:7

"Singing: "Amen! Praise and glory, wisdom and thanksgiving, honor, power, and might belong to our God forever and ever! Amen!" Revelation 7:12

This year your Thanksgiving may look different on the outside. You may not get to be with your family or loved ones. But on the inside it can be the greatest, most life changing day so far this year. Every day is an opportunity to draw closer to Him, to hear Him and "to know how to speak a timely word to the weary." Your heart full of thanksgiving longing to hear from the Lord and pray for someone who doesn't know or understand love can change a life forever.

Have a wonderful Thanksgiving Day however you celebrate it. You may be without much family or you may be surrounded by family - either way take the time to cherish Him and all you are thankful for. Take communion and remember and thank Him for all He has done and given you. There is not enough minutes in the day to thank Him for all His love for you.

I'm adding a PS. After writing this I had a great opportunity to practice what I am preaching. Our dog, Summer, is doing pretty well with her surgeries but her rear end is so sore since she is not able to have control of all of her functions yet she has red bottom issues. She was struggling so much last night. I sat on the couch watching her pant in pain and looked at the redness on her bottom and got into fear. Do I need to take her to the vet? Can I leave her to go to church? Then the Lord reminded me of what I had just written. It's amazing how fast fear creeps in especially at night. So I decided to not to look at her and take authority over the situation. If everything I have belongs to the Lord then she is His dog and He definitely wants her healed and whole. I prayed, I commanded pain to be gone and healing to come to her body and we made it through the night. The night was rough and I woke up hourly to check her and pray. This morning she is resting calmly. The Lord showed me what to feed her to give her body a chance to he.al a bit. If I focus on the issue or try to figure it out myself fear will come in. I 'm thankful for His love and that He guides me in everything including my animals. I'm thankful for the word He gave me this week for such a time.as this. Her bottom is still red but it's not hurting as bad and I will not give up or give in and will continue to speak life to every part of our Summer girl.

November l 5, 2020
Today as I sit lo write to you I don't know what to share. This week has been emotionally draining. I didn't gel any great new revelations since all I desire to do Is come Into His presence to rest and praise Him. My revelation of the last few days Is the power of resting In Him thanking Him In everything.

We were able to bring Summer home on Tuesday. She was so happy to see us but still on lots of meds for her pain so a bit disoriented. The Dr wasn't ready for her to leave since she wanted to watch her a couple more days and we understood that. However, the cost of the Dr watching her is so expensive we knew we could take care of her and she would heal better here. She's doing so well. No more diarrhea, swelling Is going down and she loves her new "ortho" dog bed, a gift from a sweet friend. She's eating, drinking and letting me put pills down her. She can find a pill in anything thing you give her! She refuses to eat one on her own and knows the procedure means my hand going down her throat but she doesn't care☺. Our only Issue Is getting her up and taking her out without something hurting. It's mostly about the sling we don't have yet that will help with her back end. She had so much road rash from the accident that her groin area Is raw and anything we try to lift her with hurts. But we are making progress and she is so stubborn she absolutely refuses to help us in any way.☺ She's a character. She lets me lift her by her harness to get the "sling" we have now under her and doesn't even try to stand up. But we are so thankful she is here and that the Lord is showing us and guiding us in how to care for her. Right now someone has to be with her so we are taking turns going out to do things and it's working for this week. Next week and beyond He will give us the plan.

This week the Lord reminded me that the words of my mouth are life or death. He spoke to my heart that impossibilities are only possible In my unbelief. His Word says in Matthew 19:26 - "But what seems impossible to you Is never Impossible to God!" I know all things are possible with Him and that nothing is impossible. Our common sense, our natural minds try to determine what's possible and impossible. We actually know deep down inside His ways are higher than ours but sometimes we just don't know how to let go and trust Him with some of our life's issues.

One of the greatest challenges we often face is the dread of what may come. There's a fear of what may or may not happen in our lives. The enemy is trying to plant a fear that God isn't as good as we may think. The enemy's lies kill our hope, steal our trust in the Lord and crushes our trust to receive His unconditional love. So much of the world and religion believes that God is in control of our situations and lives so find themselves living in dread of what our Father is going to do next. This is happening in many people with the election. It's not time to get in fear about what may happen but to believe His Word and speak life. Life comes when we KNOW what the goodness of God is and expect His goodness to be in every area of our lives.

"Do not yield to fear, for I am always near. Never turn your gaze from me, for I am your faithful God. I will infuse you with my strength and help you in every situation. I will hold you firmly with my victorious right hand.'" Isaiah 41:10

We need to pay attention to what we think about. The Lord told me I need to pay attention and to let nothing go unchecked. This is like I shared a couple weeks ago about the age of distraction. Our focus needs to be on Him and Him only right now, actually always, so we can continue to live each day in His presence with His peace and hope. I am to be aware of my thoughts so I can surrender the negative ones to Him. Any fears, unforgiveness, offenses, incorrect thoughts of my identity I need to bring into the light. He cares about my every thought. This will bring breakthrough and freedom. As I started to think about my words and thoughts I realized how negative some of my thoughts were especially in times of exhaustion. I wasn't thinking about it but realized many of my thoughts and words about different situations were actually cursing. He said to me, "Anything that is negative is speaking a curse to that situation or person."

"Your words are so powerful that they will kill or give life, and the talkative person will reap the consequences." Proverbs 18:21

The other day I read this - Everything you need His love has provided. Never underestimate the power that was released through the cross. An unlimited supply of His goodness was accomplished at the cross. Healing, forgiveness, shame, fear, anger were taken care of when Jesus gave His ALL - His life for us on the cross. Hope, favor, love, peace, joy, forgiveness are ours for the taking. We just have to receive it from Him all through faith. If He didn't withhold the gift of salvation for all eternity, why would He withhold what we need during our temporary stay on earth? His love is relevant and applies to every area of our life. There is nothing too great, too small, too mundane that is not affected by the power of His love!

I think more than anything this week I've let fear creep in. Are we doing right? How did we get to this place? What is next? Did we make a mistake putting Sumer through this? But day by day, moment by moment He gives me peace and whispers songs or verses into my heart that let me know that the answers to my questions are not important or necessary. All I need is to rest in Him.

"And everything I've taught you is so that the peace which is in me will be in you and will give you great confidence as you rest in me. For in this unbelieving world you will experience trouble and sorrows, but you must be courageous, for I have conquered the world!" John 16:33

I have focused on being thankful and praising Him. A couple of my sweetest friends will send me songs that lift my heart and I just praise Him in every situation.

"Let everyone give all their praise and thanks to the Lord! Here's why - he's better than anyone could ever imagine. Yes, he's always loving and kind, and his faithful love never ends." Psalm 107:1

So lift your hands and give thanks to God for his marvelous kindness and for his miracles of mercy for those he loves!" Psalm 107:15

"Always giving thanks to God the Father for all things, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ;" Ephesians 5:20

Praises and thanksgiving actually break the curse, break through walls and barriers we cannot get through. Our words of thanksgiving opens the heavens and brings miracles in the darkest times. The Lord has promised us that entering into an attitude of praise and thanksgiving will lift the burden, bring miracles, bring freedom, release pain and brings us into His presence. The power of praise is greater than anything we know or will ever experience. That is Who He is and Who He wants to be in us.

"Let everyone give all their praise and thanks to the Lord! Here's why - he's better than anyone could ever imagine. Yes, he's always loving and kind, and his faithful love never ends. So, go ahead-let everyone know it! Tell the world how he broke through and delivered you from the power of darkness and has gathered us together from all over the world. He has set us free to be his very own! So lift your hands and give thanks to God for his marvelous kindness and for his miracles of mercy for those he loves!" Psalm 107:1-3 Passion Bible

Take time to think about your words - your heart. Do your words represent Him as powerful, kind, loving and worthy of praise and thanksgiving always? We are thankful the Lord is guiding us and that our family and friends are well. We praise His name and trust Him in everything. Ed and I are doing well working together in this challenging time. When we hear Summer cry in pain it hurts us but we continue to ask the Lord to guide us together and speak His Life. If we can really grasp and receive the power that comes from praise and thanksgiving we would never want to grumble and complain again. Freeing power. Healing power. Praise and thanksgiving is greater than any force. That is my desire!

"Let everyone thank God, for he is good, and he is easy to please!
His tender love for us continues on forever!
Give thanks to God, our King over all gods!
His tender love for us continues on forever!
Give thanks to the Lord over all lords!
His tender love for us continues on forever!
Give thanks to the only miracle working God!
His tender love for us continues on forever!
Give thanks to the Creator who made the heavens with wisdom!
His tender love for us continues on forever! " Psalms 136:1-5
