Mona's Devotional - The Real List 11/28/2021

11/27/2021

November 28, 2021
Last week I shared about the lists we have that can distract us, take up lots of “space” in our hearts and minds and steal our time. This week I want to share a very important list, one that totally changed my life the last 25 years, and one we can hide in our heart, keep on our minds and dwell on constantly. The list is what the Word says about who we are in Christ. Mediate on these truths, look up the scriptures. Find the ones that are important to you this week. Prioritize mediating on them until they are a part of everything you think on and speak. This is the greatest way to start this precious Christmas season. As you know who you are, you see the unconditional love He has for you and it can change how you see the importance of keeping the focus on Jesus the next few weeks. I pray these truths will bring more joy and peace to this season than you ever thought possible!

I am complete in Him Who is the head over all rule and authority—of every angelic and earthly power (Colossians 2:10).  I am alive with Christ (Ephesians 2:5).  I am free from the law of sin and death (Romans 8:2).

I am far from oppression, and will not live in fear (Isaiah 54:14)

I am born of God, and the evil one does not touch me (1 John 5:18).

I am holy and without blame before Him in love (Ephesians 1:4; 1 Peter 1:16).  I have the mind of Christ (1 Corinthians 2:16; Philippians 2:5).

I have the peace of God that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7).

The Spirit of God, who is greater than the enemy in the world, lives in me (1 John 4:4).

I have received abundant grace and the gift of righteousness and reign in life through Jesus Christ (Romans 5:17).

I have received the Spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of Jesus, the eyes of my heart enlightened, so that I know the hope of having life in Christ (Ephesians 1:17-18).

I have received the power of the Holy Spirit and He can do miraculous things through me. I have authority and power over the enemy in this world (Mark 16:17-18; Luke 10:17-19).

I am renewed in the knowledge of God and no longer want to live in my old ways or nature before I accepted Christ (Colossians 3:9-10).

I am merciful, I do not judge others, and I forgive quickly. As I do this by God’s grace, He blesses my life (Luke 6:36-38).

God supplies all of my needs according to His riches in glory in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:19).
In all circumstances I live by faith in God and extinguish all the flaming darts (attacks) of the enemy (Ephesians 6:16).

I can do whatever I need to do in life through Christ Jesus who gives me strength (Philippians 4:13). I press on each day to fulfill God’s plan for my life because I live to please Him (Philippians 3:14).

I am chosen by God who called me out of the darkness of sin and into the light and life of Christ so I can proclaim the excellence and greatness of who He is (1 Peter 2:9).

I am born again—spiritually transformed, renewed and set apart for God’s purpose—through the living and everlasting word of God (1 Peter 1:23).

I am God’s workmanship, created in Christ to do good works that He has prepared for me to do (Ephesians 2:10). I am a new creation in Christ (2 Corinthians 5:17).

In Christ, I am dead to sin—my relationship to it is broken—and alive to God—living in unbroken fellowship with Him (Romans 6:11).

The light of God’s truth has shone in my heart and given me knowledge of salvation through Christ (2 Corinthians 4:6).

As I hear God’s Word, I do what it says and I am blessed in my actions (James 1:22, 25).

I am a joint-heir with Christ (Romans 8:17). I am more than a conqueror through Him who loves me (Romans 8:37).

I overcome the enemy of my soul by the blood of the Lamb and the word of my testimony (Revelation 12:11).

I have everything I need to live a godly life and am equipped to live in His divine nature (2 Peter 1:3-4).

I am an ambassador for Christ (2 Corinthians 5:20). I am part of a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a purchased people (1 Peter 2:9).

I am the righteousness of God—I have right standing with Him—in Jesus Christ (2 Corinthians 5:21). My body is a temple of the Holy Spirit; I belong to Him (1 Corinthians 6:19).

I am the head and not the tail, and I only go up and not down in life as I trust and obey God (Deuteronomy 28:13). I am the light of the world (Matthew 5:14).

I am chosen by God, forgiven and justified through Christ. I have a compassionate heart, kindness, humility, meekness and patience (Romans 8:33; Colossians 3:12).

I am redeemed—forgiven of all my sins and made clean—through the blood of Christ (Ephesians 1:7).

I have been rescued from the domain and the power of darkness and brought into God’s kingdom (Colossians 1:13).

I am redeemed from the curse of sin, sickness, and poverty (Deuteronomy 28:15-68;
Galatians 3:13).

My life is rooted in my faith in Christ and I overflow with thanksgiving for all He has done for me (Colossians 2:7).

I am called to live a holy life by the grace of God and to declare His praise in the world (Psalm 66:8; 2 Timothy 1:9). I am healed and whole in Jesus (Isaiah 53:5; 1 Peter 2:24).

I am saved by God’s grace, raised up with Christ and seated with Him in heavenly places (Ephesians 2:5-6; Colossians 2:12).

I am greatly loved by God (John 3:16; Ephesians 2:4; Colossians 3:12; 1 Thessalonians 1:4).
I am strengthened with all power according to His glorious might (Colossians 1:11).

I humbly submit myself to God, and the devil flees from me because I resist him in the Name of Jesus (James 4:7). Christ lives in me, and I live by faith in Him and His love for me (Galatians 2:20).

I am not ruled by fear because the Holy Spirit lives in me and gives me His power, love and self-control (2 Timothy 1:7).

Mona's Devotional - The List 11/21/2021

November 21, 2021
I want to thank you for your prayers as we went to Indiana this week to do the funeral service of our wonderful friend, Clifton. It was such as honor to be there for his wife, Geri, and family. The Lord definitely spoke through Ed as he shared the love of the Lord. It was a difficult time but a time of blessing as we know Clifton is celebrated with Jesus!

This week the Lord spoke to me about “The List”. This time of year, it’s easy to have a list or two going. There’s the Christmas List – Thanksgiving dinner list – Guest list – Decoration List – Party list and the list goes on:) One day I was making a mental list of everything that is on my plate at this time. I woke up about 4 with about 6 lists running through my head and knew I needed to get to writing down all I was thinking or I would forget it. My list included Ed’s cousin in Tucson’s house that we go do something with next week, Candy’s memorial service we are planning and doing in Tucson, Mom’s paperwork for unpleasant things, AirBNB duties, church events and responsibilities, Children’s church, finances, Clifton’s service, travel, finances, Christmas, grandkids Christmas, Mom’s broken heart. The list sometimes goes on and on in my head and in my heart. Then He said, “Look at how much space these things take up in your mind and heart!” Another WOW. They are real issues, real responsibilities, real parts of life but He didn’t say I had to do them alone.

There’s no way to avoid life – situations – responsibilities. But He gives us His answer to all this that we all have heard, “ Keep your thoughts continually fixed on all that is authentic and real, honorable and admirable, beautiful and respectful, pure and holy, merciful and kind. And fasten your thoughts on every glorious work of God, praising him always.” Philippians 4:8 The last few months the Lord has been speaking to my heart in ways I can’t explain. He wooed me to come closer and I finally listened. He knew I longed for His healing touch and was so overwhelmed with my crushed heart that I couldn’t see clearly on what to do. What He is doing in my heart I cannot maintain with fleshly efforts. He is working so deep that there is no way I can even try to do any of it myself. Actually, doing it myself is what got me to the place of despair.

Sometimes I act as if these lists, the burden to pray, the situations of life are totally and solely on me like He gave me this burden to carry and now I must buck up and get it done. When I was growing up, I was told over and over, “He never gives you more than you can carry.” When I lost my husband at age 23 with 3 babies that is what kept me going but I can have a determined attitude at times. I thought about that and now see how inside I have carried that attitude of the Little Engine that Could too far. Religion tells us that He puts this stuff on and in our lives and if HE put it there, we can do it and we try with every effort in us and sometimes succeed at getting the “task” done and not giving up on the outside but that keeps us from going to Him and casting the cares on Him. I always heard He won’t give you a burden to heavy to carry and cast your burdens on Him. I just realized lately how confusing that is and how some of this old religious works gets deep inside and you don’t even realize why you do what you are doing. It’s a truth that we can make it through anything with Him as our Savior and Lord but it is not a truth that He is giving us the burdens to carry. Life has burdens. Burdens come from life and sometimes we cause our burdens and other times we just get bombarded with stuff from this life. The Truth is He says to cast the burdens on Him. “casting all your cares [all your anxieties, all your worries, and all your concerns, once and for all] on Him, for He cares about you [with deepest affection, and watches over you very carefully].” 1 Peter 5:7

Most of us have heard this verse and it is what we are to do. We all try and most of us would say we pick the cares back up again. That’s where the truth of what He is doing in the heart we cannot maintain in our own efforts. Daily we must continue to give Him all our cares, worries, burdens and stuff. How can we get to the place where we are not carrying our own stuff but give it to Him and let Him keep it? We CANNOT keep ignoring His wooing and love. When we take anything into our own hands we don’t trust, or understand, or believe or experience in our HEARTS His love and compassion for us. We don’t really grasp His love and having a deep personal one on one heart relationship with Him. We may know that we can have this but that doesn’t mean it is real in our lives. I was carrying so many things and I truly was going to Him and spending time with Him but somehow, I took these burdens as my responsibility and didn’t include Him. His Word is the Truth and mediating on His Word is the greatest way to let go of things. Just like the “part truth” of the saying I heard all my life of Him never giving me too much to carry or handle, there’s still a deception in that saying. The deception is that He would give you burdens and cares to carry. The deceptions are anything that makes us think we have to do our part and let Him do His. The deception is believing His love and help come to us when we are trying to do what He wants us to do. A sentence, a thought, a belief that has many big truths and only one tiny deception that His conditional love, is not a truth at all.

The other day the Lord spoke to my heart to write on joy unspeakable. I told Him I would need help to do that! Dah!! That’s how we think sometimes. He answers our prayers by guiding us a certain way and we act as if we have to do it alone. His answer to me was, “Have I ever asked you to do anything alone, without My help?” I’m learning😊. I’m listening. He said it’s time to laugh instead of doubt and pout. 😊. Here’s some verses on thankfulness.

“Play the guitar as you lift your praises loaded with thanksgiving. Sing and make joyous music with all you’ve got inside”. Psalm 33:2

“Lift up a great shout of joy to Yahweh! Go ahead and do it—everyone, everywhere! You can pass through his open gates with the password of praise. Come right into his presence with thanksgiving. Come bring your thank offering to him and affectionately bless his beautiful name!” Psalm 100:1,4

“Sing out with songs of thanksgiving to the Lord! Let’s sing our praises with melodies overflowing!” Psalm 147:7

“Singing: “Amen! Praise and glory, wisdom and thanksgiving, honor, power, and might belong to our God forever and ever! Amen!”” Revelation 7:12

“And in the midst of everything be always giving thanks, for this is God’s perfect plan for you in Christ Jesus.” 1 Thessalonians 5:18

“My heart and soul explode with joy—full of glory! Even my body will rest confident and secure. Because of you, I know the path of life, as I taste the fullness of joy in your presence. At your right side I experience divine pleasures forevermore!”
Psalm 16:9, 11

“Lord! I’m bursting with joy over what you’ve done for me! My lips are full of perpetual praise.” Psalm 34:1

Have a wonderful week of thanksgiving. Take time to really soak in His presence and love. Give Him the lists you are preparing and let Him sort them out for you. These have been some of my life-giving verses since I was young. They are powerful. “Go ahead and make all the plans you want, but it’s the Lord who will ultimately direct your steps. We are all in love with our own opinions, convinced they’re correct. But the Lord is in the midst of us, testing and probing our every motive. Before you do anything, put your trust totally in God and not in yourself. Then every plan you make will succeed. The Lord works everything together to accomplish his purpose.” Proverbs 16:1-4

Mona's Devotional - What's on His Heart 11/14/2021

November 14, 2021
This past week was a week of joy and a time of loss. We were able to spend a couple days in Spearfish, SD with our granddaughter who is a Senior at Black Hills State University studying photography. She had some of her beautiful work on display in the gallery that we were able to see. While we were there our great friend, Clifton, graduated to heaven. That is hard. We will be going to Indiana later this week where Ed will do his service. He and Geri are such precious friends and we will miss him. I am so thankful we were able to spend a few days with him in Jay, OK a few weeks ago. That was a gift from the Lord.

As I’ve continued fasting and seeking the Lord, He has showed me so many amazing things. It may be one sentence in a devotional I am reading or a paragraph He gives me when I go to my heart. Either way, He is showing me treasures that I don’t always pay attention to. While we were in Spearfish, we had a mishap with our hotel room and I didn’t seem to handle it too well. Someone on staff had reserved a room for us by phone that didn’t even exist. I like to find accessible rooms for Mom so she can enjoy her stay without extra hassle. We ended up with 2 rooms instead of a 1-bedroom suite and I was pretty upset. It all worked out. Ed had a room across the hall and the room was very easy for Mom to move around in. I was upset with myself for throwing a fit (just in the parking lot and only Ed saw me😊) and started seeking the Lord to show me what the trigger was that made me so upset. In the end, I think it was just being lied to about the place but still I could have handled it differently. Tears flowed too easily and caused stress for Mom and Ed.

As I sought the Lord, He asked me to ask Him this question, “What is on My heart?” Don’t think I have asked Him that before. I have asked Him to help me know what was in my heart. So, I asked and this was His answer, “My heart is for you to know how much I love YOU. I’m not focused on your little fit, your impatience, your plans. Even though I will guide you when you ask for guidance that isn’t my focus. Do you truly know I love you? Do you know My love deeply? Do you feel My love pouring over you? You cannot take credit for the love you have for Me. You have MY love because you have Me. Care for My love in your heart like a precious treasure. Protect it, guard it, fight for it. Don’t let other thoughts and ways cover it up. Let it shine! Don’t blend in with the world to avoid persecution. Shine! Smile My love through your lips. Breathe Me and My love into others lives. Hug others with My love. Touch others with My love. My love will go through you to them. My love is in you because you know Me. You have all my love so let it out. You already received My love so believe the truth that you already have it. It’s impossible to have My mind without experiencing My heart!”

Wow. That sat me down and I saw His heart. What is on His mind? That we all know how much we are loved. We say we know but we haven’t even begun to experience the depth of His love for us. That’s all I am going to say right now. Spend time seeking Him and putting His Word in your heart that talks about His love for YOU. I have shared a few verses about His love. This is the place we are to go to KNOW HIM. There’s no other way. Spend time with Him this week.

“For here is the way God loved the world—he gave his only, unique Son as a gift. So now everyone who believes in him[b] will never perish but experience everlasting life.”
John 3:16

“Those who are loved by God, let his love continually pour from you to one another, because God is love. Everyone who loves is fathered by God and experiences an intimate knowledge of him. The one who doesn’t love has yet to know God, for God is love.” 1 John 4:7-8

“The light of God’s love shined within us when he sent his matchless Son into the world so that we might live through him. This is love: He loved us long before we loved him. It was his love, not ours. He proved it by sending his Son to be the pleasing sacrificial offering to take away our sins. Delightfully loved ones, if he loved us with such tremendous love, then “loving one another” should be our way of life!”
1 John 4:9-11

“We have come into an intimate experience with God’s love, and we trust in the love he has for us.” 1 John 4:16

“Yet even in the midst of all these things, we triumph over them all, for God has made us to be more than conquerors, and his demonstrated love is our glorious victory over everything! So now I live with the confidence that there is nothing in the universe with the power to separate us from God’s love. I’m convinced that his love will triumph over death, life’s troubles, fallen angels, or dark rulers in the heavens. There is nothing in our present or future circumstances that can weaken his love. There is no power above us or beneath us—no power that could ever be found in the universe that can distance us from God’s passionate love, which is lavished upon us through our Lord Jesus, the Anointed One!” Romans 8:37-39

“Even if the mountains were to crumble and the hills disappear, my heart of steadfast, faithful love will never leave you, and my covenant of peace with you will never be shaken,” says Yahweh, whose love and compassion will never give up on you.”
Isaiah 54:10

“But Christ proved God’s passionate love for us by dying in our place while we were still lost and ungodly!” Romans 5:8

“My old identity has been crucified with Christ and no longer lives. And now the essence of this new life is no longer mine, for the Anointed One lives his life through me—we live in union as one! My new life is empowered by the faith of the Son of God who loves me so much that he gave himself for me, dispensing his life into mine!” Galatians 2:20

“Give thanks to the great God of the heavens! His tender love for us continues on forever!” Psalm 136:26

“But God still loved us with such great love. He is so rich in compassion and mercy. Even when we were dead and doomed in our many sins, he united us into the very life of Christ and saved us by his wonderful grace!” Ephesians 2:4-5

“But Lord, your nurturing love is tender and gentle. You are slow to get angry yet so swift to show your faithful love. You are full of abounding grace and truth.”
Psalm 86:15

“The Lord your God is in your midst, A Warrior who saves. He will rejoice over you with joy; He will be quiet in His love [making no mention of your past sins],
He will rejoice over you with shouts of joy.” Zephaniah 3:17

“Look with wonder at the depth of the Father’s marvelous love that he has lavished on us! He has called us and made us his very own beloved children. The reason the world doesn’t recognize who we are is that they didn’t recognize him.” John 3:1

“For the greatest love of all is a love that sacrifices all. And this great love is demonstrated when a person sacrifices his life for his friends.” John 15:13

Mona's Devotional - No Fear 11/07/2021

November 7, 2021
What a beautiful sunrise He has given us this beautiful day! Thank You, Lord, for always reminding us of Your love! It’s been a different kind of week. It was full of God moments, times when Jesus spoke amazing things to me. Some of His words were about my heart issues and I had to let go of some baggage I was carrying and send it away. Some of our, Jesus and me,  times together were sitting together, He was holding my hands and assuring me He was there. It was amazing to me that I started Monday in tears and fears and by the end of the week I forgot what the real problem was earlier. He had already touched the hearts of so many involved.

One thing I found out this week is that fear was the basis for many of my heartaches. I like to think it is other people or situations but it always comes back to me and my heart. I don’t realize the fear that I am in until I take time to get in His presence and listen to His heart. Then He will show me one single sentence in a devotion or in the Word that just brings me to tears. This is what I heard earlier this week, “Stop playing it safe and trying to protect yourself from the pain of disappointment.” That’s all it took for me to know that I have a fear of being disappointed AGAIN and I ignore and mask issues that could take me to that place of pain. Guess I am tired of hurting in my heart.

Then came these verses. ”Your new life began when the Holy Spirit gave you a new birth. Why then would you so foolishly turn from living in the Spirit by trying to finish by your own works?” Galatians 3:3 Why do I keep trying to fix it myself!?

“Not one promise from God is empty of power. Nothing is impossible with God!”
Luke 1:37 I am not trusting Him in all my situations when I am in fear.

The next day was the first hearing for Mom and Dave. Again, the fear of how this will affect Mom is there. I have a fear of not being able to help soothe her broken heart. The Lord is the healer but He sends people alongside to comfort and encourage. That day I heard, “Vengeance is Mine, says the Lord.” Beloved, don’t be obsessed with taking revenge, but leave that to God’s righteous justice. For the Scriptures say: “Vengeance is mine, and I will repay,” says the Lord.” Romans 12:19

We all want certain things to happen in this because of all Mom’s hurts. We called and prayed with my brothers and their wives, with Mom and gave the vengeance to Him and we are trusting Him. We all let the “get back” attitude go. Then He spoke to me, “You don’t need a plan B, you have Me! I am more than enough!!” He said to stop thinking like the world. Stop doubting!! “Never doubt God’s mighty power to work in you and accomplish all this. He will achieve infinitely more than your greatest request, your most unbelievable dream, and exceed your wildest imagination! He will outdo them all, for his miraculous power constantly energizes you.” Ephesians 3:20 He is getting us through one day at a time.

Then the Lord spoke to me to stop wallowing in all this stuff and ARISE. He told me this a few weeks ago and I know it is time. He has to remind me of it every few days. The one I love calls to me: “Arise, my dearest. Hurry, my darling.  Come away with me!  I have come as you have asked to draw you to my heart and lead you out. For now is the time, my beautiful one.” Song of Songs 2:10

The last few weeks we have all had colds and stuffy heads. Some days you feel worse than others but we know we are healed. This week I’ve heard of so many people that assumed they have covid or have tested positive. I truly believe Psalm 91 and speak it over our home, church and wherever we are.

“When you sit enthroned under the shadow of Shaddai, you are hidden in the strength of God Most High. He’s the hope that holds me and the Stronghold to shelter me, the only God for me, and my great confidence. He will rescue you from every hidden trap of the enemy, and he will protect you from false accusation and any deadly curse.
His massive arms are wrapped around you, protecting you. You can run under his covering of majesty and hide. His arms of faithfulness are a shield keeping you from harm. You will never worry about an attack of demonic forces at night nor have to fear a spirit of darkness coming against you.

Don’t fear a thing! Whether by night or by day, demonic danger will not trouble you,
nor will the powers of evil launched against you. Even in a time of disaster, with thousands and thousands being killed, you will remain unscathed and unharmed, you   will be a spectator as the wicked perish in judgment, for they will be paid back for what they have done! When we live our lives within the shadow of God Most High, our secret hiding place, we will always be shielded from harm. How then could evil prevail against us or disease infect us?

The Amplified Bible says: Because you have made the Lord, who is my refuge, Even the Most High, your dwelling place, No evil will befall you, Nor will any plague come near your tent.” Psalm 91:1-10

I let the covid fear lie get to me! Not for me but for Mom. I was speaking healing, cleansing my house of sickness, taking authority over the sickness, which was important, but that wasn’t the problem. He showed me I needed to rebuke the fear of covid. That was what had come into our home. I took authority and cleansed our home of all the fears and lies of the enemy. I asked the Lord to expose all the lies I have been believing, the evil tricks the enemy had been playing that caused me to disconnect from His freedom in those areas. It’s gone! Mom is healed and whole. No more fears and worries or walking by sight. “for we live by faith, not by what we see with our eyes.” 2 Corinthians 5:7

He showed me that He is our safe place. I don’t have to make a place safe. He is the Truth. He is Light. His light exposes all the hidden lies and unhealthy beliefs. He knows the areas we each have and if we ask, He will reveal them to us. These were my issues that were revealed this week. He has been revealing so many unhealthy issues and attitudes that I have stored up inside me for months. All I have to do is surrender these areas to Him. I have to want to be healed and I have been asking.

“Perfect, absolute peace surrounds those whose imaginations are consumed with you; they confidently trust in you.” Isaiah 26:3

What lies have you been listening to? Sometimes we don’t know until we take time to go to our hearts and listen to His soft voice. Each week I share the many things the Lord has been dealing with me in the last couple months. I know that each day I am released of more bondage and I feel His love pouring over me all day long. It’s such a beautiful place to be.

“Love never brings fear, for fear is always related to punishment. But love’s perfection drives the fear of punishment far from our hearts. Whoever walks constantly afraid of punishment has not reached love’s perfection.” 1 John 4:18

October 31, 2021
“This is the day the Lord has made, let us rejoice and be glad in it.” Psalm 118:24
This day, October 31st, was created by God long before the enemy tried to make it his day. I understand that there is so much horrible evil that happens on this day but as Believers we are to celebrate the day the Lord made. The more Believers celebrate, sing praises, worship our Lord, Savior and Creator on this day the greater impact we have on the evil. The enemy cannot not stand the praises of His people. It stops the evil. We can’t hide out in fear of what is happening this day. We need to take authority over the evil one, call the wickedness stopped dead in its tracks and praise and celebrate Him with all that is within us! This was just a side note but so important for us to realize. “Greater is He that is in us than he that is in the world!”

The last few months or even year (Summer got injured a year ago today) I have been very transparent in the trials of our life but also showing you how the Lord was leading me through these discouraging times. For us it’s been a year like nothing we have ever experienced but we knew the Lord was with us all the way.  For myself, since the March 2020, I have grown more in courage and boldness than at any other time of my life. The situations I used to think were important and needed my attention I now see as distractions that slowed me down. The trials of this past summer were so hard but my experience with my Lord and Savior during those hard times was so precious and real. He met me right where I was and every day He held me close and told me I was loved, healed and more than a conqueror. Most days I would stumble and fall before the day was through but He never stopped reaching down to pull me up and hug me. He never condemned me, scolded me, rejected me.

I look back and see the distractions and the shame and condemnation I carried for not dealing with it all like I wanted to. There were MANY things that I didn’t get done, especially in ministry. There were people I let down, bases I missed, frustrated words I spoke to others, and actually I was just functioning in a daze so many days. Ed and I prayed together so much because we were both going through so much pain and heartbreak that we didn’t even know how to help the other one. But in the Lord’s mercy we each dealt with it all a bit different and one was strong where the other was weak and together we encouraged one another through. We both did all we knew to do and what the Lord guided us in to help Mom through her rejection and abandonment. If the walls could talk, they would have so many stories to tell of how the 3 of us persevered through tough times the last few months.

Even though I know there will still be times of heartache and pain the Lord has also told me that it’s time to pick myself up and get moving! I looked up the definition of time and the best definition I found for what the Lord is telling me is “kairos time, meaning ―season, opportune time, or time of accomplishment. Kairos is a time that requires a conversion from people. Kairos time is here. It calls for action, conversion and transformation—a change of life. Kairos is not just crisis but opportunity and favour. God assists us in discerning the kairos—a moment of grace. For me that means no more excuses, no more wallowing in grief, no more pity parties, no more victim mentality, no more procrastinating. These are the many things that distract me from the Kairos moments in my life. This world is falling apart like never before. There is no time to waste in selfishness and strife. It’s time for to laugh. It’s time to love. It’s time to have joy unspeakable and full of glory! It’s definitely time for healing. There is no greater distraction to His Kairos moments than sickness! Sickness and health issues are an attack from the enemy! Even though we all can get attacked with physical stuff and there is no condemnation (this is also an attack and distraction to feel condemned when physical stuff hits your body) we must rise above the evil attack, send it away and let the Lord reign in every area of your body. The world is sick – health is part of our salvation when we accept Him as our Savior. I’m sharing some verses He showed me this week about “it’s time”. Meditate on them and let Him show you what your Kairos time is right now. Knowing His timing in your life will be transforming!

“How could I be silent when it’s time to praise you? Now my heart sings out, bursting with joy— a bliss inside that keeps me singing, “I can never thank you enough!”” Psalm 30:12
“It’s time to sing and shout for joy! Go ahead, all you redeemed ones, do it! Praise him with all you have, for praise looks lovely on the lips of God’s devoted lovers.”
Psalm 33:1

“Hallelujah! Praise the Lord! It’s time to sing to God a brand-new song so that all his holy people will hear how wonderful he is!” Psalm 149:1

“The one I love calls to me: Arise, my dearest. Hurry, my darling. Come away with me! I have come as you have asked to draw you to my heart and lead you out. For now is the time, my beautiful one.” Song of Songs 2:10

“Can you not discern this new day of destiny breaking forth around you? The early signs of my purposes and plans are bursting forth. The budding vines of new life are now blooming everywhere. The fragrance of their flowers whispers, “There is change in the air.” Arise, my love, my beautiful companion, and run with me to the higher place. For now is the time to arise and come away with me.” Song of songs 2:13

“Yahweh says: “When the time of showing you favor has come, I will answer your heart’s cry. I will help you in the day of salvation, for I have fixed my eyes on you. I have made you a covenant people to restore the land and to resettle families on forgotten inheritances.” Isaiah 49:8

“His message was this: “At last the fulfillment of the age has come! It is time for God’s kingdom to be experienced in its fullness! Turn your lives back to God and put your trust in the hope-filled gospel!” Mark 1:15

“To live like this is all the more urgent, for time is running out and you know it is a strategic hour in human history. It is time for us to wake up! For our full salvation is nearer now than when we first believed.” Romans 13:11

“Now it’s time to be made new by every revelation that’s been given to you.” Ephesians 4:23

“This is not the time to pull away and neglect meeting together, as some have formed the habit of doing. In fact, we should come together even more frequently, eager to encourage and urge each other onward as we anticipate that day dawning.”
Hebrews 10:25

“Walk in wisdom toward those who are outside, redeeming the time. Let your speech always be with grace, seasoned with salt, that you may know how you ought to answer each one.” Colossians 4:4-6
“Look carefully then how you walk! Live purposefully and worthily and accurately, not as the unwise and witless, but as wise (sensible, intelligent people), Making the very most of the time [buying up each opportunity], because the days are evil. Therefore, do not be vague and thoughtless and foolish, but understanding and firmly grasping what the will of the Lord is.” Ephesians 5:15-17
