“The Lord will give unyielding and impenetrable strength to His people; the Lord will bless His people with peace.” Psalm 28:11 (This was the 1st verse I read and I sure needed peace!)
“Sing to the Lord, O you saints of His, and give thanks at the remembrance of His holy name” Psalm 30:4
“The wicked borrow and pay not again [for they are unable], but the righteous deal kindly and give [for they are able].” Psalm 37:21
“It is a good and delightful thing to give thanks to the Lord, to sing praises to Your name, O Most High.” Psalm 92:1
“That I may make the voice of thanksgiving heard and tell of all Your wondrous works.” Psalm 26:7
“O sing to the Lord a new song, for He has done marvelous things.” Psalm 98:1
“Make a joyful noise to the Lord, all you lands! Serve the Lord with gladness! Come before His presence with singing! Know that the Lord is God! It is He Who has made us, not we ourselves. We are His people and the sheep of His pasture. Enter into His gates with thanksgiving and a thank offering and His courts with praise! Be thankful and say so to Him, bless and affectionately praise Him. For the Lord is good; His mercy and loving-kindness are everlasting. His faithfulness and truth endure to all generations.” Psalm 100:1-5
“O give thanks unto the Lord, call upon His name, make known His doings among the peoples!” Psalm 105:1
“He who gives to the poor will not want..” Proverbs 28:27
“He gives power to the faint and weary and to him who has no might He increases strength causing it to multiply and making it abound. Even youths shall faint and be weary and young men shall feebly stumble and fall exhausted. But those who wait for the Lord [who expect, look for and hope in Him] shall change and renew their strength and power; they shall lift their wings and mount up close to God as eagles mount up to the sun; they shall run and not be weary, they shall walk and not faint or become tired.” Isaiah 40:29-31
“But seek (aim at and strive after) first of all His kingdom and His righteousness and then all these things will be given unto you. So do not worry or be anxious about tomorrow, for tomorrow will have worries and anxieties of its own. Sufficient for each day is its own trouble.” Matthew 6:33-34
“Keep on asking and it will be given you; keep on seeking and you will find; keep on knocking and the door will be opened to you. For everyone who keeps asking receives; and he who keeps on seeking finds; and to him who keeps on knocking the door will be opened.” Matthew 7:7-8
“Give and gifts will be given to you; good measure, pressed down, shaken together and running over, will they pour into the pouch formed by the bosom of your robe and used as a bag. For with the measure you deal out – with the measure you use when you confer benefits on others – it will be measured back to you.” Luke 6:38
“What shall we say to all this? If God is for us, who can be against us? Who can be our foe, if God is on our side? He who will not withhold or spare even His own Son but gave Him up for us all, will He not also with Him freely and graciously give us all things?” Romans 8:31-32
“But thanks be to God, Who gives us the victory making us conquerors through our Lord Jesus Christ. Therefore, my beloved brethren, be firm, steadfast, immovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord [always being superior, excelling, doing more than enough in the service of the Lord], knowing and being continually aware that your labor in the Lord is not futile – it is never wasted or to no purpose.” 1 Corinthians 15:57-58
“But thanks be to God, Who in Christ always leads us in triumph – as trophies of Christ’s victory – and through us spreads and makes evident the fragrance of the knowledge of God everywhere.” 2 Corinthians 2:14
“Remember this: he who sows sparingly and grudgingly will also reap sparingly and grudgingly, and he who sows generously – that blessings may come to someone – will also reap generously and with blessings. Let each one give as he has made up his own mind and purposed in his heart, not reluctantly or sorrowfully or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver – joyous, prompt to do it- giver whose heart is in his giving. And God is able to make all grace come to you in abundance, so that you may always and under all circumstances and whatever need be self-sufficient.” 2 Corinthians 9:6-8
“And God Who provides seed for the sower and bread for eating will also provide and multiply your resources for sowing and increase the fruits of your righteousness – which manifests itself in active goodness, kindness and charity. Thus you will be enriched in all things and in every way, so that you can be generous and your generosity as it is administered by us will bring forth thanksgiving to God. For the service that the ministering of this fund renders does not only fully supply what is lacking to the saints – God’s people- but it also overflows in many cries of thanksgiving to God. Now give thanks to God for His Gift, precious beyond telling – His indescribable, inexpressible, free Gift.” 2 Corinthians 9:10-12, 15
