Mona's Devo: Psalm 23 During Virus - April 26, 2020

4/27/2020

April 26, 2020
Where do I begin? My heart is full. My heart is heavy. My heart wants so much to understand all this stuff and He continues to tell me “Rest”. To be honest, I don’t like the place we as a country are at right now. As I walk with the Lord through my many thoughts and feelings I will share them with you. I know they might be a bit scattered but pray you can understand. I constantly  go back and read what the Lord has given me the last few weeks because there are times when I watch too much TV or read too many social media posts that I can get some negative thinking. I know the vital necessity is keeping my focus on Him and His Word. I understand its value even more when I let down my guard because it messes me up. “So above all, guard the affections of your heart, for they affect all that you are. Pay attention to the welfare of your innermost being, for from there flows the wellspring of life.” Proverbs 4:23

I am going to pretty transparent with some of what is happening in my life. I know so many people that are content in this season and enjoying whatever comes their way. Contentment and peace is good. It is the best place to be and not in strife. Many of them are safe at home including financially. So many are without any income, including the government money they haven’t received. This is extremely hard for them. In my thinking they are also heroes to give up all their livelihood to protect others. I am okay to stay home and enjoy the quietness of the days but I’m not okay with this being a mandate to protect us and keep thousands of people from working and actually going to worship and pray together. Something doesn’t feel right about it. I know the Lord is doing mighty things in people’s hearts right now. I’ve shared the last few weeks that even though we don’t know all that is ahead we do know what is certain – Jesus – His Love – His promises – His Word. Today as I was struggling to find any truth to anything being said about this situation He gave me Psalm 23, which I will talk about more. . I suppose there is some facts that are accurate with the virus but don’t know which ones. Maybe our leaders have a tiny bit of interest in the well being of Americans and America but it’s hard to tell which little bit they really care about. I earnestly pray and intercede for our President and leadership. I truly believe some of them are desiring the wisdom of the Lord. I can’t imagine how this effects their lives. They are really in a battle.

The other day Ed and I talked about how much people are like sheep to the slaughter which means they just follow whoever is leading and are in the line to be slaughtered and don’t know it. It’s a very good idea to KNOW the shepherd or lead sheep you are following. But right now there are a lot of wolves in sheep’s clothing who are leading people blindly on the wrong path. I get the concept to be safe and care about others but we need to make sure it’s our Shepherd Jesus that is leading us in what to do not uncaring leaders. I’m not too content in the ways things are headed. Maybe I should be but deep inside I know something is wrong and I am listening to His still small voice to lead me. I know that we have victory already as we follow Him.  I can rest in Him and His promises and still discern the deceitfulness and evil that is being spread to the people. Whatever I am feeling I can’t hold on to or I will become bitter and hateful so I must cast my cares on Him.  “Casting all your cares, all your anxieties, all your worries, and all your concerns, once and for all on Him, for He cares about you with deepest affection, and watches over you very carefully.” 1 Peter 5:7 We are His sheep and His sheep hear His voice.  “My sheep hear My voice, and I know them, and they follow Me.” John 10:27 Sheep don’t always know what to do or where to go. That’s why they need a shepherd. They are easily led astray if their eyes aren’t on the shepherd. Sheep are followers. They follow the leader in front of them. We never want to follow the crowd – the flock - unless we KNOW which shepherd the other sheep are following.

Sometimes I have days of tears as I pray for our country, the leaders, our friends, family and church. As I see so many people struggle, hurt, in confusion, in anger my heart is broken for them. The Lord showed me my heart is grieving for the lost sheep, those so unsure who to follow and why. Many follow what appears to be the easiest path at the moment. I long for them, the lost and the Believers, to hear and listen to the voice of the Shepherd’s voice and follow Him. We are blessed right now with so much ministry going out on the internet and social media. The right message is going forth. I continue to pray and believe that people will hear the Truth and be set free from this bondage of the evil one. We keep hearing we need to take the virus serious but we need to take our Lord and Savior serious and listen to Him and as our Shepherd He will guide us in the right path.

“The Lord is my best friend and shepherd. I always have more than enough.
He offers a resting place for me in His luxurious love. His tracks take me to an oasis
of peace, the quiet brook of bliss. That’s where He restores and revives my life.
He opens before me pathways to God’s pleasure and leads me along in his footsteps of righteousness so I can bring honor to His name.

Lord, even when your path takes me through the valley of deepest darkness,
fear will never conquer me, for You already have! You remain close to me
and lead me through it all the way. Your authority is my strength and my peace.
The comfort of Your love takes away my fear. I’ll never be lonely, for you are near.

You become my delicious feast even when my enemies dare to fight.
You anoint me with the fragrance of the Holy Spirit,
You give me all I can drink of You until my heart overflows.
So why would I fear the future? For Your goodness and love pursue me all the days of my life. Then afterward, when my life is through, I’ll return to your glorious presence to be forever with You!” Psalm 23 (The Passion Translation)

During this time of “what’s next? When can we go forward? What? When? How?” we have to remember we cannot meet our own needs and the government is not going to take care of us or supply what we need. He is our Shepherd. All we need to do is seek Him! We have everything in Him. Read the Psalm again, is anything we need left out? It says with Him as our Shepherd we only have to follow Him, come to Him and we will always have enough. He leads our path through the darkest valleys and FEAR WILL NEVER CONQUER us when we are with Him!! He gives us a resting place in His luxurious love. We are to rest in Him as we go through this time.

I realized today that even though I pray, believe and speak life I have also gotten discouraged when our shelter in place continues to be extended, now May 9th, when people cannot go back to work, when those in charge say one thing but change it right at the last minute. I found myself starting to lose hope in different areas instead of standing up and declaring what the Lord said to me. The Lord spoke it’s time to go forward in areas of ministry and I started to doubt. Our plan isn’t to fight the authorities but to follow our Shepherd. This is a battle with the enemy. The enemy can’t stop our voices from going forth, in fact more voices are over the airwaves than ever before. He has tried to stopped us coming together as a church, praying together, laying hands on the sick, families being together, being able to provide for ourselves and so much more. He has lied and deceived in such clever ways. But he hasn’t won because Believers are tired of it and standing firm on the Word and love of Jesus and NOT GIVING UP HOPE. “For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places.” Ephesians 6:12

We already have the victory. Don’t get discouraged in well doing! Follow your Shepherd and not another shepherd or lost sheep. He is taking care of you. Trust His love. Continue to thank Him, praise and worship Him always. Pray and believe for one another and encourage one another, too. This is keeping our focus on Him! Thank you for listening. Blessings to you all!

Mona's Devo: God will always be proven faithful and true to his word - April 19, 2020

April 19, 2020
Easter Sunday itself has come and gone. What a special season it was reflecting on His love for us. Now what? Probably what the disciples were saying too after they watched Jesus die. In this season of change in the world, Resurrection season gave us a distraction from the world situation. It was easy to focus on Jesus’ last days on earth. Now what are we to focus on? We have at least a couple more weeks of shelter in place. There’s still uncertainty of when businesses will open and when churches will be able to assemble together. I believe this is still a set apart time to keep our hearts towards Him and strengthen our foundations. It’s a time to listen to His heart and prepare ourselves for what He has called us to do. It’s a season of healing in every area of our lives. At the beginning of the year the Lord told us we need 20/20 vision and to refocus our vision. Wow! I never expected it to be like this but my focus is being adjusted and made clearer for sure.

What I know is that He is still faithful to His Word. He hasn’t changed. He hasn’t changed His Word. He hasn’t gone back on any promises. He is still our Protector, Our Savior, our Peace, our Joy, our Hope, our Comforter, our Provider, our Source, our Shepherd, our Healer. He’s our EVERYTHING! This mess hasn’t changed Him but I’ve seen it change people. I’ve seen so many give into the lie of the enemy. It breaks my heart. We all may have had some times when the enemy deceived us and we leaned on our own understanding. But we must remember the source of this situation, the enemy! Sickness is from the devil. Death is from the devil. Fear is the number one way the enemy gets us. He lies to us and makes his lies look so understandable that we listen to him and then when confusion and fear get ahold of us we know it’s not God. It’s definitely been a time to see what is really in our hearts. Now the choice is ours to believe our Father 100%, half way or maybe just a bit. He lets us decide. When all around us changed, He hasn’t!  “God will always be proven faithful and true to his word..” Romans 3:4

Before Resurrection Sunday I read in the Gospels about Jesus’ last days. So much of what happened that last week of His life had been prophesied many years before and it all came to pass as the Word said. Jesus had been on earth and with the people for 33 years and ministered to them and taught them for 3 years and they still didn’t believe when they saw Him after He rose from the dead. They doubted, they didn’t understand and there was confusion. Today many are as full of doubt and fear as many were then. Even when we believe in Him as our Savior some also believe the power of a virus. That doesn’t make the power of His Resurrection very powerful! Jesus died for us. He was beaten beyond recognition for us. He did this because of His love for us. Then He was buried and rose for us and so many people let the words they hear from the media and others take root in their hearts instead of believing His Word. His Truth is often not understood or believed. Sometimes we build our belief system on the reality of the world and what we see happening around us. Many times we work His word in where it works best with our natural understanding and that becomes our foundation. If the fruit of the Spirit isn’t present in our foundation, if there is strife, confusion, uncertainty and doubt then we can know our hearts aren’t totally trusting Him. “Trust in the Lord completely, and do not rely on your own opinions. With all your heart rely on him to guide you, and he will lead will lead you wherever you go.” Proverbs 3:4-5

What we are dealing with right now is much deeper than a virus. There is a virus. People have lost their lives but the fear that was instilled in people’s lives is even more deadly. I have no problem staying home for a season. That isn’t the real problem. It’s the power of the fear that has people not even being themselves. Fear is rampant. Stores are trying to keep with the guidelines and we get in crowded lines that put us right next to each other. In the stores there is a spirit of fear so strong you feel it coming. This trying to control the virus through controlling the people is bringing stress and tension to everyone. It’s so sad to see so many fearful people.

As Believers, as the church, we must rise above this! We can’t let this rule our hearts. Now more than ever before in our lives we have to keep our focus on the Lord. We have to be so close to Him that we hear His voice in every area we encounter on a daily basis. We must know His voice so that when He speaks we listen and hear. You need to pay attention to the “checks” you feel in your spirit when things don’t seem right, when you feel He’s telling you to go left not right. Don’t try to reason in your own understanding, just trust Him – acknowledge Him and trust Him as He directs your life, your path. We know the Lord is our victory. We know we have already won!

So what is next? Which way are we to go? I certainly don’t have all the answers as does anyone now. I know we can’t give up praying for our country, the leadership and that this virus stuff is dead in the Name of Jesus. We can’t give up on anything the Lord has given us a dream or vision to do. This situation was a shock to most of us, caught us off guard maybe, shifted the way we think in some areas but it’s nothing compared to what Jesus did for us. There has been so many opportunities to learn from these experiences, enjoy the quietness of being home and  listen to our hearts. What’s next? Victory in Him! Living His promises! Opportunities to share the Gospel with a hurting world and to let the world see His peace in us!! It’s time to deepen our roots, awaken our hearts, plant seeds of love! We are to arise and let His glory shine in us! We have reason to shout His victory and proclaim His majesty! It’s definitely not the time to waver, doubt, give up or grow weary. It’s not the time to stop, sit down, lie down or fall down. It’s not a time for anger, judgment, condemnation or being prideful. It’s not the time to get selfish, self- seeking or in strife. There’s exciting days ahead and we are to run toward them shouting victory all the way! What a joy to live at this time and this season. We will see an outpouring of people wanting Jesus! It’s time arise. The end of the shelter in place is drawing near. This season of preparation is about over and the next season will be greater. Our Governor said that we were in a sprint and it is now time to run a marathon as guidelines are being changed a bit. That’s what is happening also with Believer’s but not like he is talking about. The last month was a sprint compared to what is ahead for us. The path ahead could be grand, amazing and maybe unbelievable but He will be right beside us as we go forth in strength and courage. It going to be exciting for all those ready to go forth with Him.

“Now may God, the inspiration and fountain of hope, fill you to overflowing with uncontainable joy and perfect peace as you trust in him. And may the power of the Holy Spirit continually surround your life with his super-abundance until you radiate with hope!”  Romans 15:13 This is what’s ahead for any Believer ready to trust Him completely.

“Jesus said to him, “What do you mean ‘if’? If you are able to believe, all things are possible to the believer.” Mark 9:23

“But you, O Lord, your mercy-seat love is limitless, reaching higher than the highest heavens. Your great faithfulness is infinite, stretching over the whole earth.” Psalm 36:5

“So it is impossible for God to lie for we know that his promise and his vow will never change! And now we have run into his heart to hide ourselves in his faithfulness. This is where we find his strength and comfort, for he empowers us to seize what has already been established ahead of time—an unshakeable hope!” Hebrews 6:18

“For God’s Word is something to sing about! He is true to his promises, his word can be trusted, and everything he does is reliable and right.” Psalm 33:4

I’m excited!! Let’s go forth with Him leading us in the victory we already have!! Hallelujah! Amen!

Mona's Devo: Resurrection Power - April 12, 2020

April 12, 2020
HAPPY RESURRECTION SUNDAY!!!! Today is the day we celebrate what Jesus did for us at the cross. This year Resurrection Sunday is different and being celebrated differently around the world. Churches are closed. People have to stay home. No big family gatherings or sunrise services. We are very blessed to be able to watch services from around the world on our computers. It hasn’t been too many years ago that this wouldn’t be happening.  Was thinking lately, could our individual relationships with the Lord get us through these times if we didn’t have television and computers? Could I or could you be strong in Him during this world crisis if we couldn’t get on Facebook and read all the encouraging words and hear the sermons? Something to ponder in our hearts. Each of us can and are to be in a place that our personal relationship with our heavenly Father is so intimate that we don’t waver in difficult times. We get used to depending on others to do the studying, to having the relationship and then we just piggy back off of them. Just a thought, it’s time we all are close enough to Him that we could make it through a hard time with just ourselves and Him if we had to. That’s the reason Jesus came to earth to die for us, so we could have this close, intimate relationship with our heavenly Father.

Most of us know about Jesus dying on the cross for our sins and that He was buried and 3 days later rose again. That is what Easter is all about. We believe that when He died and rose again He paid for our sins so that we could have eternal life in heaven with Him. All that is true but I also believe that it is deeper and even more relational. Jesus came to earth as a man. He lived on earth for 33 years. He knew that He came to die for the sins of the world so that man and God could have the relationship that God had created them to have. In the beginning man and God were intimate. Then when sin happened there became a bridge between God and man. The heavenly Father could no longer have a close relationship with His children that He longed to have. After the fall man could still be close to God, speak to God and hear from God but God could not be in them. There were laws made that let man know what was acceptable and unacceptable to God. It was through the keeping of the laws that you earned your relationship with Him. A relationship that is built through doing good deeds is never as close and intimate as a relationship built on oneness. “You live fully in me and now I live fully in them so that they will experience perfect unity, and the world will be convinced that you have sent me, for they will see that you love each one of them with the same passionate love that you have for me.” John 17:23 Jesus is talking to God about Their love for each other and man.

I always like reading the life story of Jesus this time of year. Jesus knew that the cross was before Him. He knew He would die a horrible death. How could He do that? Some may say it is because He was Jesus, He was God’s Son. It is true that He was the Son of God but when Jesus came to earth He gave up His place in heaven and became a man. The Bible says that Jesus was tempted in every way as we are. He had no more power than we have available to us. The difference was that He never
gave in to any of the temptation and because He lived a sinless life He could become our sin. He
was the Lamb without blemish that shed His innocent blood for our redemption of sins. God sent
His Son, Jesus, to take our punishment and pay the price we owed for all we had done in unbelief – which is sin. Jesus actually became all the sins of the world, past, present and future. Jesus, the perfect, unblemished Lamb of God had to become our sin and then shed His innocent blood for
us to have an intimate relationship with God, our heavenly Father. Jesus could endure the shame
and pain of the cross because He saw the other side of the cross. He didn’t look at the pain of that
day but saw the purpose and goal of the cross. His power came from knowing He would get through.

“Since we are now joined to Christ, we have been given the treasures of redemption by his blood—the total cancellation of our sins—all because of the cascading riches of his grace. This superabundant grace is already powerfully working in us, releasing within us all forms of wisdom and practical understanding.” Ephesians 1:7-8  When we talk about Jesus dying so that we could have eternal life, we are usually thinking about life eternally with Him in heaven. That is true but listen to this verse. “And this is eternal life; it means to know, perceive, recognize, become acquainted with and understand You, the only true and real God and likewise to know Him, Jesus as the Messiah, Whom You have sent.” John 17:2   Eternal life is more than just living forever. It is knowing Him deeply right now – here on earth – TODAY!  As I seek the Lord on the power of His resurrection, I am seeing there is a foundation. Part of that foundation is to know and believe that we are a new creation in Him when Jesus becomes the Lord of our life. We aren’t a fixed up person but totally new in Him. “Christ’s resurrection is your resurrection too. This is why we are to yearn for all that is above, for that’s where Christ sits enthroned at the place of all power, honor, and authority! Yes, feast on all the treasures of the heavenly realm and fill your thoughts with heavenly realities, and not with the distractions of the natural realm.” Colossians 3:1-2

None of us will ever have to do what Jesus did for us. Yet, all of us go through problems and
situations that are hard to endure. The whole world is in that situation now. How can we know
that we will have victory in those situations? By seeing the other side. We must learn to look
beyond the circumstances and see what God has promised us. Any problem we have we can get through when we see the victory at the end. You may ask, “How can we know it will be victory?”
We will have victory if we believe in our heart God’s love and purpose. If we believe in failure
and that there is no hope that is what we will experience. There is no real power in unbelief. The
power comes from believing that with God all things are possible and that without Him we can do nothing.

Another great part of that foundation is His love. His agape love never fails. If our life is built on the foundation of His love, we will stand strong through any storm. One of the greatest things about knowing and walking in His resurrection power is knowing His love. Most of us aren’t accustomed to handling most of our situations by the power of His love that we have because of His resurrection. We don’t see ourselves and others as the Lord sees and then we walk things through by our own logic instead of His unfailing love.

Jesus died on the cross for us because of that unfailing love that He had for His Father and us. God gave up His Son to die for us because of that same love. Jesus didn’t go to the cross full of bitterness doing a duty He was told to do. He could only have done what He did for us through the love and power of God. “I have revealed to them who you are and I will continue to make you even more real to them, so that they may experience the same endless love that you have for me, for your love will now live in them, even as I live in them!”
John 17:26 These are the words Jesus prayed to God, His Father, right before He went to the cross for us. There is so much to know and understand in our hearts about what happened when Jesus gave His life for us and then rose again and conquered death. Ask the Lord to continue to show you the power of His resurrection and how you can have a foundation built on who you are because of what He did. His love will never fail.

On this day that we have set aside to remember what Jesus did for each of us, take time to search your heart and see what you really believe about Jesus and His resurrection power. If you have
doubt or fear about the world situation we are dealing with now or any situations, surrender that to Him and let Him show you the other side of it. Let the Lord show you in your heart that His salvation includes love, joy, peace, prosperity, deliverance, healing now not someday down the road. He
wants you to experience “On earth as it is in heaven” today and every day. That is His will for you.

Don’t let His love for you be in vain. Believe that God truly is a good God and “so loves the
World that He sent His only begotten Son that whosoever believes in Him, shall not
perish but have everlasting life.” John 3:16 Have a beautiful week reflecting on His power –
His love and desire for you. You will see the power of His resurrection in your life and never see
your life and situations the same. You are blessed!!!

Mona's Devo: He knew what was ahead - April 11, 2020

4/11/2020

Comments

April 4, 2020
Right now there are so many unknowns. We don’t know – no one knows – exactly what is ahead with this situation we are facing now. There are many opinions, theories, thoughts, charts, prophecies, predictions and if we listen to it all we will definitely be confused. We each have our own thoughts on what is happening around the globe and there are opportunities to have some great division among us because of it and that isn’t what we are to do. But whatever you believe it still has a lot of unknowns. As I was thinking about this and praying the Lord brought to my heart the account of Jesus on this week before His resurrection.

Jesus did know what His days would be. He told His disciples what was about to happen and they didn’t understand. It was a mystery to them. They couldn’t grasp in their hearts what Jesus was telling them or envision it. Jesus knew the path He had to walk. He knew the triumphal entry was the beginning of the end of His life on earth but He was triumphant as He rode the colt donkey through the city. He knew the end outcome which was VICTORY! We do know the end result of this situation right now. As Believers we already have the victory. As His children He has already walked the ultimate path for His children to give them everything in Him. ALL – all we are to do is keep our focus on Him, what He did for us at the cross and all His promises of His infallible Word. Things around us in the world right now are very shaky ground. But we are not of the world – just in it – and we don’t ever have to feel the ground shaking because we have a firm foundation in Him.

The other day I was reading the declaration we chose for 2020 as a church. It is Psalms 96:2-3
“Don’t stop! Keep on singing! Make his name famous! Tell everyone every day how wonderful he is. Give them the good news of our great Savior. Take the message of his glory and miracles to every nation. Tell them about all the amazing things he has done.” What an awesome truth to declare in this time. When He gave this to us in the beginning of the year He knew what was ahead and how powerful this verse would be. He’s saying don’t stop declaring Him and His glory! In these uncertain times people are wondering if this is from God or not. Give them the good news of our great Savior. We will tell of His miracles and the amazing things He is doing right now in the midst of world chaos. Keep going. It could be easy to get impatient right now and we don’t like the unknowns. We are impatient for answers. We aren’t content without knowing. But we do know! We know how wonderful He is and how much He loves us and is with us in all we are going through. We do know He never leaves us or forsakes us.

We don’t know exactly what the days ahead will hold during this uncertain times. We do know they are changing daily. The enemy is working overtime instilling fear into the hearts of people. Fear is far worse than the virus! Fear in our hearts keeps us from hearing Him clearly and in the natural lowers our immune system. It is said that a huge percentage of our diseases and sickness is caused from the lower immune system that stress and fear bring. If we don’t pay close attention to all the negatives we are letting in our bodies we will be fighting off other physical ailments. Just a thought to ponder.

When Jesus was on earth He came as a man so we could identify with Him. He walked a perfect life, became our perfect sacrifice but was tempted in every way. He knew what was ahead and ask His Father to remove it from Him if possible.  “Jesus left the upper room with his disciples and, as was his habit, went to the Mount of Olives, his place of secret prayer. There he told the apostles, “Keep praying for strength to be spared from the severe test of your faith that is about to come.”  Then he withdrew from them a short distance to be alone. Kneeling down, he prayed,  “Father, if you are willing, take this cup of agony away from me.  But no matter what, your will must be mine.” Jesus called for an angel of glory to strengthen him, and the angel appeared. He prayed even more passionately, like one being sacrificed, until he was in such intense agony of spirit that his sweat became drops of blood, dripping onto the ground.” Luke 22:39-44

Jesus knew what was ahead, it was not an unknown. The only way He could get through this time was to keep His eyes on His Father. In John 15 and 17 Jesus is talking to His Father. His strength was not in Himself but through His relationship with His Father.

What is ahead for us? More days of shut down? More days/weeks of closed businesses? More days and weeks going by without being able to gather together as a church? The uncertainties are hard and discouraging. But Jesus came as an example for us. What He did for us the 3 days of His life is like nothing we will ever face. And it wasn’t an unknown! He went ahead willing to die for us – the whole world. The disciples were right there with Him and still didn’t get it and He had told them. He gave us everything we need to get through any situation in our life and have we listened or believed?  This is a powerful time to remember all Jesus did for us at the cross and the gift our heavenly Father gave.

“Their circumstances will never shake them and others will never forget their example. They will not live in fear or dread of what may come, for their hearts are firm, ever secure in their faith.  Steady and strong, they will not be afraid, but will calmly face their every foe until they all go down in defeat.” Psalm 112:6-8.
Another translation says: They will have no fear; in the end they will look in triumph on their foe”!!

What I share with you today is what the Lord has given me. I have had plenty of days, especially in the beginning, of shock and unbelief at how quickly all these shut downs have happened and I kept wondering what is the truth in this situation. Probably will never know the whole truth because there is so much deception and politics involved in the middle of this that the people themselves don’t even know the real truth. I’m like many of you and thinking there’s something wrong with this whole thing. I’ve had numerous days of knowing that something isn’t right and I just pray. We have many unknowns but I will be interceding and praying continuously because He knows. The Lord told me I had to get my focus off the “what if’s” and get it on Him. He told me to focus on what I do know as certain and Truth. That’s all I can do and that’s enough for me. My focus is to stay in peace and rest in Him during this time so I can help others and be an example of the love of Jesus. When He tells me to pray about certain political things, I pray. When He tells me to share Him with someone, I share. I have very strong beliefs about things that are happening but I guarantee you every one of our opinions, thoughts, conspiracy theories, political stands, charts, reports and whatever else we are fixing our thoughts on has a flaw – a hole in it. The ONLY certain Truth we have now or ever will have is Jesus and the Word of God. Jesus gave His life for us so that we can know what to do in situations. He told us how to handle stress, attacks, sickness, fear, despair, discouragement, poverty, lack. God gave us the answer to EVERY situation we would ever face in the Word and we can have certainty in HIM!! We have everything in HIM!!

We are going to continue to wonder what is next and that is fine but we can’t let it get us down. If we ask Him what is ahead He will give you some thoughts, directions, ideas to go forth with. One thing I believe – is that we don’t have to wait for this to be over to get going because it may not ever be the same as it was. He says don’t waste this time. Listen and prepare now! As we rest in Him He will give us visions of what is next in our ministries. We need to arise from the discouragement, disillusions and shock of the last few weeks. Share Jesus with those you encounter and be prepared to assemble together soon! What a joyous day that will be!! Celebrate His love and resurrection this week. Happy Resurrection day!!
