March 29, 2020
A couple days ago in the early morning as I was praying for my family, I heard the Lord say, “Get up and write this down.” So I got my notebook and listened and wrote. This is what I heard Him say:

“This is a time of rest – rest in Him. Don’t fight – don't fight the enemy – don’t fight others. Don’t worry about the politics.

Rest – regroup – you will see His priorities. Build up your immune system. Be healed because you will need to be strong physically, emotionally and spiritually for the race that is ahead!

You will run with endurance, purpose, love and strength for Him and in Him. Powerful – history making days are ahead for Believers. Exciting times! Get refreshed so you can go forth in courage and strength to refresh others.

Living Water is being poured in and over you now. This is spring – the ground is being tilled. Gather the seeds He is calling you to plant. Continue preparing the soil and soon He will tell you the time to plant. Living Water will be poured out on the soil of your heart.

We’re not finished Church! Our greatest days are ahead and they are days of Life like we’ve never seen before.

Get up from your slumber, I said rest in Me, don’t sleep! I’m speaking to every heart something special – something just for you. The seeds I tell you will be different than what I tell others so that My garden is full of variety and full of the fruit of the Spirit.

The blossoms of spring are about to burst open. Protect them from frost. Guard your heart like never before in this time. The earth is about to break forth with Life!! Hallelujah!! Rejoice in the Lord!

Even as you are sheltered at this time, right before Easter, it’s a time of refection, searching your heart, living in My heart. Send away all that hinders new growth. Toss old seeds you’ve held on to for years and never planted and get the seeds for the crops of 2020!

Lean into Me, walk with Me through My days before My death. Be crucified with Me and burst forth from the grave with new Life!!! There will be so much new birth and new life.

What the devil meant for evil – death, control, world control, worldwide sickness and death, I will have turned to worldwide rest in Me, worldwide awakening, worldwide explosion in Me!!!

Mona's Devo: Stand - His truth in virus crisis - March 29, 2020

March 29, 2020
This is such a different time for everyone. We haven’t seen events as they are in our lives. Myself, I wake up early morning by morning, praying, seeking, listening, longing to hear all He is telling me. One day I woke up early and I had so much on my heart. I decided to write it down and share it with you. What I am sharing is my heart, my thoughts and very likely not to be like yours. That’s okay. The part I share about me you are welcome to disagree with. The part I share about Him, take time to ponder and search out yourself.
I was raised by a very strong, opinionated Dad. He was intelligent, he read and studied hours a day. He was very conservative and studied the Constitution, our rights and standing firm on what God gave us in this country of freedom. He was prophetic and many things he spoke about from the 1960’s until he went to be with the Lord in 2001, we have seen come to pass. He stood on his constitutional rights and was even involved in politics wanting to keep the freedom of this country strong for his grandkids and great-grandchildren. So being raised like this I naturally lean towards keeping freedom that is constitutionally ours and standing firm on every right that is ours in this country founded by God. I don’t believe in compromising anything that is against the Word of God. I believe Proverbs 3:4-5, “Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him and He shall direct your path.” The Word says He will lead me when I am trusting and acknowledging Him and I believe that! I am “old fashioned” on the ways of the Lord and living by the Word. The Word says, “There is a way that seems right to a man, But its end is the way of death.” Proverbs 14:12. Our family is very strong and believe our constitutional rights. Our children believe in America and are proud Americans and our grandchildren have been raised the same.
I say all this all this to say, when something like we’ve seen for the last few weeks happens my first thought is to protect our freedom. Now I do respect keeping people from dying from this evil attack of the enemy. I have been in enough foreign countries and was in the hospital daily for 3 months with Tim that I have learned to be careful what I touch, what I put in my mouth and I’m all about washing my hands. Actually, our last team to Kenya got Girardi from washing our hands with soap. The 2 that didn’t wash their hands didn’t get sick. It was contaminated water. So it’s about using His wisdom, listening to Him, not leaning on my own understanding and letting Him guide in all my ways. I definitely respect cleanliness and the Bible tells us to.
However, in my heart I don’t believe that everything that has transpired in the last few weeks was about keeping people well and alive. This has been a battle in many ways. Since this virus or any virus is from the enemy PERIOD there has been a spiritual battle. We can’t just use man’s understanding of washing hands and social distancing. Those are good, common sense things to do. But we need to take our authority! We can’t beg God to heal our land. He sent Jesus Who paid that price over 2000 years ago! Our land is healed, it is blessed. We already have the victory in Jesus and the cross. This virus and any sickness is an attack and lie of the enemy. Jesus gave us authority over this earth when He ascended into heaven. WE have the authority and power in Him to stop the spread of this evil thing. It’s not our strength it is His in us. We need to call the virus dead in the name of Jesus and believe it is dead! “The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly.” John 10:10 The Bible says that Believers lay hands on the sick and they recover not have to be 6 feet away. We are covered by His blood and no plaque can come our dwelling (Psalm 91). The blood of the Lamb is on our doorposts and nothing can come in, in fact it dies. There is power in 2 or 3 praying together. “For where two or three are gathered together in My name, I am there in the midst of them.” Matthew 18:20  The Word tells us to not forsake coming together especially in the last days. “not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as is the manner of some, but exhorting one another, and so much the more as you see the Day approaching.” Hebrews 10:25  This virus has NO power over anyone but we must believe in our identity in Him and all He gave us at the cross. When we don’t know what truly happened through Christ’s death, burial and resurrection we don’t know what our rights as His children are.
Now I will share my feelings on the rest of the story. This is where it sounds political but I am just sharing more of the Word and how He is guiding us.  “For the love of money is a root of all kinds of evil.”  1 Timothy 6:10  No matter how you believe politically doesn’t matter, we all watched the leaders have issues with money and control at the cost of people’s lives and livelihood. I understand that Godless people, there are still many people that need the Lord, are blind to what Believers believe. We need to be praying for the leaders that are leading us from the President to our county officials as much as we need to pray for the virus. Those that don’t believe don’t see it the same that’s why we can’t let them lead our country into dark places. We are to be the light. We need to pray and break all the lies and control. Remember the thief comes to kill, steal and destroy. Fear is also from the enemy. “For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind.” 1 Timothy 1:7
“There is no fear in love; but perfect love casts out fear, because fear involves torment. But he who fears has not been made perfect in love.” 1 John 4:18 The perfect love is Jesus. We need to cast off that fear so we can walk in His power, love and sound mind.
A few truths to remember and put in our hearts. When we pray we pray usually say “In the Name of Jesus” or we may say, “In Jesus Name” . What is His name?
Savior                                                Healer
The Way, the Truth and the Life          Lamb of God
Redeemer                                           Good Shepherd
Prince of Peace                                   Provider
Protector                                            Refuge
Strong Tower                                      Deliverer
Faithful and True                                Friend
Name above all names – This is Truth

“Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might.  Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places. Therefore take up the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.” Ephesians 6:10-13
We must stand against the wiles of the devil. We aren’t fighting the people – even the ones we don’t like. The enemy will use anything to destroy what we believe, to get us into fear, to not believe who we are in Christ Jesus. We can’t lie down- we must stand. You can read the rest of Ephesians 6 about the full armor of God.
The Lord gave me a prophesy about this time of being shut up. I don’t know what I think about the shelter in place but He gave me a word. He will use what the enemy meant for evil and turn it into good. I don’t believe I have to submit to anything the leaders of this country say if it’s against the Word but I will abide by the guidelines that the Lord says to abide by. These few weeks of shelter in place can be used to rest in Him and get our hearts grounded firm in Him. I believe through all this that the Lord is working some mighty things and we will come forth in triumph. We can take a couple three weeks to abide in Him. Read John 15. It’s a great place to be. But let’s use this time wisely and be prepared for the outpouring that will come from this tragedy. You don’t have to agree with the leaders that are making decisions right now. Actually, there are times I get pretty frustrated because there’s a lot of things going on behind the scenes. But I know my part is to pray for the leaders, to pray salvation for those who don’t know Jesus, pray they will seek God’s wisdom and direction in every decision they make. That sounds impossible but I am also calling things that aren’t as though they are! The media slogan is we are together in this. They are talking about the hard times, the tough times.

We can be together in this as Believers to be a light in the darkness. We are the light of Life.

Mona's Devotional March 22, 2020 - We Win!!

March 22, 2020
Wow! What a week we just had! One like most of us have never seen. It’s hard to believe some of what is occurring is even real. There are, what seems to be, very selfish people hoarding all the essentials while others whose businesses have shut down are making hand sanitizers, masks and other things that are needed to give away for free. There’s a lot generosity. There’s things happening that are confusing, concerning and crazy. The past few days were a great example of keeping our focus on Him. Without the Lord to look to everything would become so hopeless.

I will say I haven’t gotten into fear but I have gotten into confusion with the unknowns of the virus and what the government was doing. I spent some time interceding, speaking life for all who are sick and calling this virus dead. It truly has no right and as Believers we need to take our authority and bind this invisible enemy from infecting anyone else. Instead, most people don’t know how to take the authority given to them by God and all we hear is how many more people will die before it is over, how there will be a shortage of hospital beds in Colorado, how many months this will take to be gone. This power of words! The power of the media words going out into the air! This thing isn’t winning but the words being spoken are given it some power.

BUT greater is He that is in us than he that is in the world. The power of Christian’s prayers as they come together in unity and authority binding and loosing what the Lord has given us the authority to do. President Trump calls it the invisible enemy. This invisible enemy can be dead and gone in a moment, people can be healed and there can be no more deaths just by our prayers and words of Life. It hasn’t happened exactly as I know it could but I have to believe our prayers have changed some of what could have happened and it can be gone sooner than the scientists think. I believe in science and I believe in doctors but I believe far more in my Creator. It was He who designed our bodies and knows exactly how it all works. He has told us to speak LIFE! “He told them, “It was because of your lack of faith. I promise you, if you have faith inside of you no bigger than the size of a small mustard seed, you can say to this mountain, ‘Move away from here and go over there,’ and you will see it move! There is nothing you couldn’t do!”  Matthew 17:20

Guess this has been my heart for this week – desiring to see Believers come together in all the love and authority we have in Him and make a difference in this world. It’s an opportunity like we’ve never had before in most of our lives. I had a few frustrating moments when the news was on and I would hear all the death being spoken into every home. In those times I had to take time to pray for my own heart that it didn’t get into condemnation and judgment. There’s a fine line between righteous anger and anger that isn’t righteous. What the Lord gave me this week was a few reminders of all He’s been showing me since the being of the year and then my devotional has spoken to me actually what I needed each day. It’s amazing how that happens.

As I looked back over my journal for this year I saw the Lord was preparing me. This isn’t His will, He didn’t create it but He knew what was coming. “The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly.” John 10:10 I saw everything He had spoken to me since the beginning of the year and it all helped me today.

One of the words the Lord gave me was preparation. A simple definition of prepare means: to make ready beforehand for some purpose, use, or activity. Preparation is about preparing our hearts and I had many hours of time with Him dealing with the issues of my heart and one issue was fear. Fear of the unknown especially with Mom and Dave. But that helped me be prepared for this without having fear in my heart. I praise the Lord for that!

The Lord continued to speak to me to Be still and know I am God. Sometimes we focus more on just being still but we are to be still for a purpose – to know Him. I took time to rest and be in His presence. I have stilled my heart from the pressures of life and have let Him speak to me softly. I am so thankful I didn’t run from what He asked me to do.

One of the strongest words I got from Him was to have courage. “This Book of the Law shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall meditate in it day and night, that you may observe to do according to all that is written in it. For then you will make your way prosperous, and then you will have good success. Have I not commanded you? Be strong and of good courage; do not be afraid, nor be dismayed, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go.” Joshua 1:8-9 These are some of my favorite verses and so powerful in my life.

Another amazing direction the Lord has spoken to us lately is the power of communion on a daily basis. That has made such a difference in my heart. Daily I take the bread and cup and “Do this in remembrance of Me”. It’s so powerful. I don’t know what has kept me from doing this before, probably just not understanding how vital it is for our lives. But He reminded me and I listened for such a time as this and I praise Him always for His love and guidance in my life.

“Behold—God is my salvation! I am confident, unafraid, and I will trust in you.
Yes! The Lord Yah is my might and my melody; he has become my salvation! With triumphant joy you will drink deeply from the wells of salvation.  In that glorious day, you will say to one another, “Give thanks to the Lord and ask him for more! Tell the world about all that he does! Let them know how magnificent he is!”
Sing praises to the Lord, for he has done marvelous wonders, and let his fame be known throughout the earth! Give out a shout of cheer; sing for joy, O people of Zion,
for great and mighty is the Holy One of Israel who lives among you!” Isaiah 12:2-6

I love these verses from Isaiah. He gave me these to meditate on in February. With triumphant joy you will drink deeply from the wells of salvation. Thank You, Jesus!!

Hope upon hope. This is the question I had on my heart one day, “How do you believe beyond belief?” “The Lord alone is our radiant hope and we trust in him with all our hearts. His wrap-around presence will strengthen us.” Psalm 33:20

This week I read in my devotion something that really touched my heart. It was about clinging to Him and not getting disillusioned. Sometimes when things don’t turn out the way we had thought they would or hoped they would we do become disillusioned. Then the enemy throws questions at us that he knows we cannot answer. One question he asked me this week was “Why aren’t your prayers working, what’s happening with all this in the world?” The enemy wants us to live uncomfortability of the unknowing. This virus is an unknown for most of us. But the Lord wants us to trust beyond what we understand. The Lord asked me if I can trust Him and not have to have answers to these tough questions if I don’t understand. The unknown is so hard for all of us. We like to be in control at least a little bit. He asked me to cling to Him and release the need to understand and His peace that passes all understanding would guard my heart. I want to see things from His perspective. All the questions in my heart, on all our minds are not important compared to His peace and His ways. When the news media, reports of the virus, death words of so many people are wreaking havoc with my peace He tells me to be still and rest in His presence. When the chaos of this past week wants to beat me up with confusion and doubt then I need to stop and take time to be with Him above everything else. Seeking the presence of the Lord must became my first instinct in times of crisis.  We all need to take time to get alone with Him before we do anything else. We need to rest in His arms a few minutes before going back to the negatives of this world. As I quiet myself He pours His perfect peace upon me which is beyond my understanding. “Don’t be pulled in different directions or worried about a thing. Be saturated in prayer throughout each day, offering your faith-filled requests before God with overflowing gratitude. Tell him every detail of your life,  then God’s wonderful peace that transcends human understanding, will make the answers known to you through Jesus Christ.” Philippians 4:6-7

I don’t like what is happening, as does anyone. I understand being self-employed and I feel bad for the businesses that have to close. It has affected our family since almost everyone in our family are self-employed. But I delight in seeing so many people in this situation find hope and a way to make things better. A slower life? I’m believing every family will be able to step back and see what is really important. I pray families will find joy in this slower pace and connect in ways only He can connect them during this time together. I come against the fear that can hold people back from going forward in peace even in a time of crisis. I speak death to the virus and LIFE to every person. I thank the Lord for His love, His peace, His Word, His Life. I totally believe that all things work together for those that love God. This will change lives for the better if we let Him work. The enemy is not winning! We always win in Him!!! We continue to listen to the Spirit and let Him guide through all we do with ministry. We know “No weapon formed against us shall prosper” and we are rejoicing in Him and His love. We seek His wisdom and believe He is taking us deeper – We are definitely “off the deep end” in this situation and trusting Him!!!

Mona's Devotional - March 15, 2020- Psalms 91- Virus

March 15, 2020
It’s been quite a week with the coronavirus situation. For myself, I do not begin to understand the panic and fear that has overcome some people. I can’t even pretend to grasp it. I know there is a virus and I truly understand and respect how severe it can be for people. Right now we have Dave in our home who needs to be careful and my Mom who is 89. We are using wisdom and seeking the Lord but we are not panicking and wiping out the grocery store shelves.  We are at peace and asking the Lord to guide our every step.
Thursday night we were studying about communion and discussing this virus. As we talked the Holy Spirit gave a couple of us Psalms 91. What a powerful chapter of the Word! There’s been a few times this week that I got caught up in the cussing and discussing of the whole situation. Like I said, I am so out of touch with the whole panic and fear outburst. The stores remind us of Venezuela! What would people do if there is a real emergency? What would happen if we had a real epidemic of a disease that was life threatening to everyone like our country has seen in the past or other countries deal with every day now? That is when the Lord reminded me of what He spoke to me last week. He told me to keep my eyes on Him. Not to look at the problem but to the Answer. What I keep before my eyes and and listen to with my ears is what I will focus on and put in my heart. Fear can creep in for Dave and Mom. What if’s pop into my mind. I know all this is the deceiver trying to get me distracted. The Word is full of God’s promises to protect us, to heal us, to watch over us, to never leave us. Those words are the ones I must read and reread again and again until there is no fear or doubt in my heart and mind. I love the Passion translation of Psalm 91:
“When you sit enthroned under the shadow of Shaddai, you are hidden in the strength of God Most High.”
Hidden from what? Let’s read on – the rest of this chapter tells us.

He’s the hope that holds me and the Stronghold to shelter me, the only God for me, and my great confidence.
He is our hope, our Stronghold, the only God. Without Him we have and are nothing!!!

He will rescue you from every hidden trap of the enemy, and he will protect you from false accusation and any deadly curse.
He rescues us from EVERY hidden trap of the enemy. He rescues us from ANY deadly curse. Coronavirus is a deadly curse. There is nothing good about it!

His massive arms are wrapped around you, protecting you. You can run under his covering of majesty and hide. His arms of faithfulness are a shield keeping you from harm.
I love to feel His massive arms wrapped around me. He is faithful and His faithfulness is our shield. The shield of Faith protects our hearts from letting lies and deception in.

You will never worry about an attack of demonic forces at night nor have to fear a spirit of darkness coming against you.
Wow! I desire so much that everyone grasped and believed this promise! When we are in Him, hidden in Him, we NEVER have to worry about a demonic attack. It’s when we get our eyes off Him and get into trying to figure things out on our own and in our own ways that we get distracted.

Don’t fear a thing! Whether by night or by day, demonic danger will not trouble you,
nor will the powers of evil launched against you.

What a powerful, life changing promise!

Even in a time of disaster, with thousands and thousands being killed,
you will remain unscathed and unharmed, you will be a spectator as the wicked perish in judgment, for they will be paid back for what they have done!
When there is a disaster we are hidden in Him unharmed from what is going on. The enemy cannot not even see us when we hidden in Him!!

When we live our lives within the shadow of God Most High, our secret hiding place, we will always be shielded from harm. How then could evil prevail against us or disease infect us?
I stand on this promise right now. The Amplified Bible says: Because you have made the Lord, who is my refuge, Even the Most High, your dwelling place, No evil will befall you, Nor will any plague come near your tent.

God sends angels with special orders to protect you wherever you go, defending you from all harm. If you walk into a trap, they’ll be there for you and keep you from stumbling.
He commands angels to be with us. There is so much going on in the spiritual world that we cannot see. Imagine what we look like as a church family with all our angels?! We don’t see all those traps the enemy has tried to catch us in. Thank You, thank You, Jesus.

You’ll even walk unharmed among the fiercest powers of darkness, trampling every one of them beneath your feet!
Hallelujah!!

For here is what the Lord has spoken to me: “Because you have delighted in me as my great lover, I will greatly protect you. I will set you in a high place, safe and secure before my face.
I praise the Lord for His protection and love! He will GREATLY PROTECT ME – YOU!! We are safe and secure in His high place.

I will answer your cry for help every time you pray, and you will find and feel my presence even in your time of pressure and trouble. I will be your glorious hero and give you a feast.
Even in the times I get caught up in the deceptions He hears my prayers and I will feel and know His presence.

You will be satisfied with a full life and with all that I do for you.  For you will enjoy the fullness of my salvation!”
PRAISE THE LORD!! What a promise! I can enjoy my salvation – my zoe life. The life that He has made for me. I’m healed, protected, delivered from any evil, prosperous, full of His Spirit! The fullness of my salvation!

I believe with everything in me that we have power and authority over any COVID-19 bug, over any distraction, over any attack. There is no disease or plaque that is beyond the Lord. He gave me – us the power and authority to rule over the powers of darkness. This little lighthouse church on the mountain has the power and authority to come against this virus that is effecting the entire world and as we pray and stand firm on who we are in Him the virus has to die.
“For where two or three are gathered in My name meeting together as My followers, I am there among them.” Matthew 18:20  “How could one chase a thousand,  And two put ten thousand to flight…” Deuteronomy 32:30 Let’s stand together and in His Word. We will see the victory!!! Keep these words before your eyes and we will not stray or get into fear! We can have the peace and strength that people are desiring. We are an example and witness to the power and love of Jesus. Thank you for standing with us!

Mona's Devotional - March 8, 2020- Walk by faith not by Site

3/23/2020

When I write each week you are usually reading about my journey. I share with you what the Lord has helped me through week after week. Most of the time the Lord is teaching me – reminding me – healing my heart – guiding me – speaking to me as I spend time with Him. As I journal my journey I am desiring to hear and see His love as He directs my paths. My experiences are on my heart so that is what I usually share with you. He is showing me the simplest things and these simple words and visions of love and hope spark a fire in my heart. I always hope this will minister to you too.
The past few weeks the Lord has had me taking notice of my words, what I listen to with my ears, what I put before my eyes and then look into my heart to see if there is a peace, joy, hope and love. If there isn’t I know I need to go to my heart. When I go to the doctor with Dave I can get caught up in the reports, procedures, risks and outcomes that they share with us. Then I realize that when I am caught up in that I am not seeing it His way. Why aren’t I calling the tumor gone? Why do I let the enemy keep messing with my family and not take authority?  Why are we accepting the bank’s report of an empty account? Sometimes we can just get caught up the process – the road we are walking and only see what is right in front of us. There are times I talk to my brothers, my kids, some friends and I must be such a downer because I am focusing on what is right in front of me and not Him. There are SO many uncertainties with Dave and fear gets in the way. The report that his tumor is rapidly growing and there is no plan of treatment at this time, no set dates to continue his treatments, no real answers while he feels and we know the situation is increasingly becoming worse in the physical realm. I watch my Mom feel helpless but she doesn’t realize her prayer warrior prayers are making a difference. When I get caught up in all this He showed me I am looking at things through the world’s eyes and not His vision. “For we live and walk by faith, not by what we see with our eyes.” 2 Corinthians 5:7
I am choosing to believe despite what I see with my physical eyes and to be aware of His presence in all I do. This faith life I desire to live is about reaching, believing and embracing what my eyes don’t see as possible. There are no boundaries in faith as His ways are unlimited and I can’t think with natural understanding and be in faith. Jesus becomes my source and nothing is impossible with Him. He is always assuring me of His love. He tells me to look in the mirror and see Him in my eyes.
“The eyes of your spirit allow revelation-light to enter into your being. If your heart is unclouded, the light floods in!” Matthew 6:22
A year ago I wrote about our grandson who was living a life that could easily have killed him. He was with the wrong people and making very bad decisions. He was very messed up. So I had pictures of him around the house before my eyes where I could see them from when he was young to a couple years ago. Faith is believing no matter what is going on in the physical. “Help me turn my eyes away from illusions so that I pursue only that which is true; drench my soul with life as I walk in your paths.”  Psalm 119:37
I have individual pictures of all 22 grandchildren where I can always see them. I have family pictures of all 5 children’s families. I have pictures of my family surrounding me so I can keep them in prayer. I know the truth is that they are my inheritance, they don’t belong to the enemy and they do know the love of God. That’s where my focus has to be! As I pray, I see my family whole and touching the world with His love. Today Caleb is doing amazing. I know someday he will share his testimony of deliverance to others who are lost.
We know the story of Jesus feeding the 5000. I remember when I realized that even Jesus had to get His focus off the circumstance and onto the Father. “Then Jesus took the five loaves and two fish, gazed into heaven, and gave thanks to God. He broke the bread and the two fish and distributed them to his disciples to serve the people—and the food was multiplied in front of their eyes!” Mark 6:41 He took the food and looked to His Father in heaven. He didn’t look at the 5000 and get into doubt. He didn’t see the fish and bread multiply in front right then but He told the disciples to feed the people. It happened as they went that there was plenty. What an example He gave us. I can’t look at my problems with my natural eyes. I must see what He is showing me and keep my eyes focused on the Father and His love. He gave me a book of promises and that has to be what I see with my eyes.
“The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, and he has anointed me to be hope for the poor, freedom for the brokenhearted, and new eyes for the blind, and to preach to prisoners, ‘You are set free!’ I have come to share the message of Jubilee, for the time of God’s great acceptance has begun.” Luke 4:18-19
I must keep His promises before my eyes. I read over and over many of the words He has given me lately and I declare these over myself. I have a vision board with His promises He has reminded me of so when my mind starts to see things that are not His promises I can bring my focus back. I have verses and promises that my Mom and Dave can daily see has they are going through this process. If we read anything today, watch any TV, look at any social media stuff our eyes will see a whole lot of lies. When I choose to put stuff in my mind that makes me negative I am not choosing His life. Our minds are never on neutral but always seeing Life or death. The Word says to choose Life.
Right now the media and just the world in general are flooding our minds in two different areas of fear. These two situations are both important, real and vital but they are presented to the people from a fear perspective. One would be the election coming up. You cannot believe anything you hear. One person contradicts the other. This is normal during an election season but it still isn’t right or good. It’s a mess. It’s a ploy from the enemy to get us into fear and confusion. The confusion that is trying to be placed on us in this whole election situation is danerous. We have to keep our gaze on Him and nowhere else. He will show us the path of truth.
The other great fear outbreak right now is the Coronavirsus. There’s more breakout of fear than the virus itself! This is nothing but the enemy! I am not saying there isn’t a virus and we don’t need to use wisdom and caution. BUT the virus itself is from the devil as Jesus died for all diseases and sickness. He took it to the cross. Then fear is definitely a strategy of the enemy. We read a couple weeks ago that perfect love casts out fear. “There is no fear in love – dread does not exist, but full-grown, complete, perfect love turns fear out of the doors and expels every trace of terror! For fear brings with it the thought of punishment and so he who is afraid has not reached the full maturity of love – is not yet grown into love’s complete perfection.” 1 John 4:18
“For God did not give us a spirit of fear, but He has given us a spirit of power and of love and a sound mind.” 2 Timothy 1:7.
He calls us to a higher way of life. We get going in these battles of life and forget that He already won them. Things will happen. Battles come. Fear comes but it isn’t supposed to stay! He is our strength. We are to align our thoughts and words with His. Our focus and gaze must be on Him. We get distracted and He showed me it’s time to wake up and get our focus right. The things of this world are a mess. The enemy is trying hard to keep people deceived. We need to completely release our hold of what isn’t of Him and let Him show us the way. Nothing is impossible for him. We need to stop over thinking and trust in Him. It’s time to be one who stands up, stands firm. It’s time to be one of the few that dare to believe Him and have radical faith! It’s time to stop letting the negativity of the world rule our minds and hearts.
“I pray that the light of God will illuminate the eyes of your imagination, flooding you with light, until you experience the full revelation of the hope of his calling—that is, the wealth of God’s glorious inheritances that he finds in us, his holy ones!”  Ephesians 1:18
He Lord showed me this in Romans 4:17 from the Message Bible: “Abraham was first named “father” and then became a father because he dared to trust God to do what only God could do: raise the dead to life, with a word make something out of nothing. When everything was hopeless, Abraham believed anyway, deciding to live not on the basis of what he saw he couldn’t do but on what God said he would do. And so he was made father of a multitude of peoples. God himself said to him, “You’re going to have a big family, Abraham!”“God, who gives life to the dead and calls those things which do not exist as though they did;” Romans 4:17          This is the journey I am on right now – me and my Father. I call things that are not as though they are! Tumor gone! I speak Life more abundant! Family healed! He says “it’s time to leave behind what no longer is so we can see what is yet to be”.  We are to leave the cage of fear and soar with freedom. “Casting down arguments and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ.” 2 Corinthians 10:5            Here at church we have a vision mirror. The Lord showed me that we are to take verses He has blessed us with lately and tape them to the mirror in the entrance so others can see them and we can stand and believe together. There is paper, pens and tape for you to put your revelation, the current verse or promise you are standing on, a word from Him, a testimony. This is something we can do weekly. Let’s be the lighthouse church on the mountain that chooses to not be a part of the negativity but dare to believe Him in everything and have radical faith!!
“And the crowds marveled with rapture and amazement, astounded over the things they were witnessing with their own eyes! The lame were walking, the mute were speaking, the crippled were made well, and the blind could see. For three days everyone celebrated the miracles as they exalted and praised the God of Israel!” Matthew 15:31
